  • I love speed and incline intervals on the treadmill SO much better than running at a steady pace. Even if I don't run as far, I feel like I get a better work out, and I burn more calories in the same amount of time.
  • I think we've all been there. Try staying on track mon- fri (or whatever your normal work week is... since it's easier when you're in a routine....and give yourself the weekend as your cheat days... then after a while, cut it down to 1 cheat day per week.... see if that works for you.   • I rarely eat the extra calories I burn from exercising every day. Instead, I stick to 1200 cal/day mon- fri, and then on the weekends give myself a break from counting, and eat what I want..... within reason. WeightWatchers uses a similar approach with their point system and it has worked well for me.

  • Try cutting back on carbs (except for fruit) and see what happens... has worked for me. I broke down my percentages to a 50% protien, 20% carbs, and 30% fat on my food diary page, and that has worked really well for me. Cutting carbs has helped slim my waist more than anything.
