  • I was about to post how everyone was doing! I'm doing well, just wish I could stick with the daily workouts- because of a meeting at school after work, or having to work in the evening, sometimes it gets in the way of working out. At most I'll go 2 days with out working out and I miss it. Apparently this change up has been…
  • See my post in "What are your daily calories" Don't stop and get distracted, keep going, keep going, keep going! :)
  • I'm a 46 year old female 5'3" started at 180 currently at 169, goal where I look my best is 140-145 MFP says I should be eating 1200 to loose 1 pound/week. I do eat my calories back from what I burn, and I eat as clean as I can. I have lost 4 1/2" total and 3 almost 4 dress pant sizes.... yet the scale hasn't shown a loss…

  • I love pure cardio and abs! I do the abs first then the pure cardio. Works well for me. :)
  • First of all, I know you seem to be obsessed with the scale. Put it away. Seriously. That is the most frustrating thing ever. I was obsessed like you. I actually saw an increase of 2 lbs since I had lost 11 pounds since I started Insanity. Since I put it away I am paying more attention to what fits, how my muscles are…

  • I must be weird, I don't care for Cardio Recovery all that much. I mean it's good and different, but I don't seem to get the "satisfaction" I usually get from the other workouts. :) rewards system? Not yet. ... Other than shopping for new clothes here and there, out of necessity.
  • Thanks everyone! I do push myself, but also recognize when I need to take a few deep breaths and continue as I can keeping up pretty well. Yesterday's average heart rate was 131 and max was 151. And I was "in zone" for 32 of the 40 minutes. I am following my daily calorie intake and eating what I burned and still staying…
  • I have fresh okra growing right now and I chop it up in pieces and saute them in a pan with Pam on med -low heat until golden brown turning both sides. It doesn't "taste" like okra like this and it never gets slimy. It has a nutty flavor and just delicious and fresh. It's very yummy :)
  • Yes, I understand that it's not only the calorie burn. I definitely have noticed that my clothes are fitting much better, I actually dropped 2 pant sizes. and yes you are right about stamina cardio ability etc... I have noticed much more improvement there as well. Thanks for the reminder to look at the "whole picture"…

  • Once a month on Friday's we can wear jeans to work . When I put mine on this morning and buckled the belt, I had to go down 3 holes in order for them to stay on! Down 3 holes! wow, I was pleased, gave me more motivation to continue Insanity!!

I just completed Day 5 of Insanity! I was thinking I was too old for this, but so far so good. I threw up the first day of…
