I had a very unstable childhood, which lead to me being a very overweight child....Once I became an adult and had control of my own life the weight was much more under control. I agree with the work thing to. It seems the happier you are with your personal life the better your health is!

You shouldn't have to feel like you are going to "catch hate" for that! I think it is great you found a plan that works for you!! I too started low carb about a month ago and love it! It helped me break my stall.

I lost my period a few years back when I went on a low cal diet/high cardio...My body was starving and in shock...I didnt have it for about 4 months...I started to eat normally again and got it back...It didnt do any long term damage that I am aware of...

SO True! Im sure i am in the wrong size, but truthfully I wont be buying expensive bras until i can get a lift...After 2 kids and a lifetime of losing and gaining 50 lbs at a time, my girls have seen better days!

I run 5 ks and i am a 36 D....If your back doesnt like it, it will tell you, and u can make adjustments!

The big one for me is that on this site it is looked VERY down upon to EAT less than 1200 cals but when it comes to netting 1200 cals after exercise not a lot of people do that...So it seems as if its okay to eat 1600 cals and exercise 500 but not vice versa???

Mine at rest/sitting up is usually around 65-75, When I walk up stairs or do house work it is around 100, when I do high impact cardio its around 180! Im still trying to figure it all out myself!

Are you using a hrm??? Its easy to over estimate cals burned.... If you really are only netting 43 cals you will burn out fast!

I weigh in once a week....i have a hard time believing that what we ate the previous day effects our weight the very next day, i would think looking at a whole week would be a more accurate messure..

Sadly I have to say it goes both ways....I am a size 12-13 and i go into Lane Bryant because I LOVE the bras they sell and i get funny looks from them all the time....

If people who ate/net under 1200 a day should be banned from this site, so so so so SO many people would be banned, TONS of people burn through so many calories working out and eat back very few of those cals....

I gain about 2, and i never really knew it either until using MFP....Im sure if I hydrated myself better i might gain more...

Isnt that the point? To burn more cals than you take in?? Otherwise how are you going to lose any weight? By no means do you have to go under 1200 cals...but you will still burn more than you take in...

You can totally lose a dress size in 5 weeks if you are doing 30ds AND eating properly!

I totally agree you CAN eat more and lose weight...you just have to be very dedicated to eat healthfully and put in some exersice.
