  • Restarting the treadmill version after being away for a few months! Got to week 5 last time (20 mins straight!) which is CRAZY for me. It's such an awesome program!

  • You're amazing J! I'm only up to week 5 after being ill! How are you finding it?
  • Haha, you've lost 90lb!! That's amazing! As far as I'm concerned you ARE the master of the universe! :)
  • I'm currently doing week 4 and cant believe the difference a month has made!! I was strugling through the 60 seconds at the start, and this week I've run the 5 minute intervals and thought 'hey, I could definately run further than this if I had to!' If my poor lungs can pull through it, so can yours!! Just go as slowly as…
  • Welcome back to another week of awesomeness! :) I have been sick again and only made 2 sessions last week, so I will be repeating week 4 to give my body some room to recover. Hope you're all doing smashingly and getting some inspiration out of the olympics!
  • Friiiiennnds! :D Age: 25 (in October) Height: 5'6" (That's 167cm to you fellow metric users ;) ) SW: 191lb (87ish kg) CW: 178lb (81kg) GW: 140lb-ish (around 63kg) Add away, my pretties!
  • I did it!! W4D1!! I havent run for 5min straight since I was 17!! Our bodies are amazing machines! You can do it, Milly! :)
  • You can if you want, but it sounds like too much work, and will be innacurate unless you wear a HRM every time you work. The 'activity levels' in your profile are supposed to factor in your job, eg, Sedentary is for people with desk jobs like me. If 'active' is the setting they recommend for waitressing then it's probably…
  • I'll bite! :) SW: 87(ish)kg (191lb) CW: 81.2kg (179lb) GW: 78.9kg (174lb) UGW: 65kg (143lb) Weigh in Dates: 8/8 8/15 8/22 8/31 Total weight lost:
  • Go us!! How're we all doing? I struggled through W3 with a cold - very nervous about the 5min runs in W4!! :)
  • Just had these - Amazing!!! Thank you so much for posting :D Added some truvia and vanilla essence, and a dash of milk to thin it out a little. Nomnomnomnomnoms!
  • They teach at TAFE, which pays sweet **** all, so presumabley this idiot teaches because he/she hasn't made it at a trainer or fitness guru - because who would want to be trained by such a judgemental, unprofessional person? Not me! I want to be trained by someone who's gone through what I'm going though, has lost some…
  • My C25K days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Wednesday night I felt myself getting a cold, so I went to the gym on Thursday (still feeling quite rubbish) without even thinking about it, because I knew it would be worse today! Normally I would have just taken it as an excuse to skip the 3rd day all together. Yay for…
  • Well done everyone! What an awesome week! I finished W3W3 yesterday - I normally would have done it today but I've caught a cold and wanted to get it out of the way before I got really ill. Lucky, because today I feel like death warmed up! Great job again, and have a great weekend! :drinker:
  • So true! I still weigh myself every morning to motivate myself to eat better for the day, but I dont freak out if the needle hasn't moved! I track my progress by how I feel in clothes, and being able to climb a flight of stairs without huffing and puffing! :)
  • That is awesome! Really happy that it's all worked out for you :) Keep us posted with your progress!!
  • My method of responding to these types of oxygen thieves is to give them my most amused, distainful look and say, "I bet your parents are *really* proud of you." A further response, for when they come back with "I haven't got any" (or in your case possibly "***** I ain't got none, I was raised by the streets" /cue Coolio…
  • Hey, don't beat yourself up about it! Finding the time with kids can be tough! And this group is here to listen :) Maybe ask your husband to watch the kids for half an hour when he gets home, while you pop out of a quick run/gym session, and put dinner on a little later? Something like that twice a week and then do the 3rd…
  • Gahh! I missed Friday's W2D3! Damn you, social life! Going to do W2D3 tonight and squeeze in W3 for the rest of the week! That'll learn me :) How is everyone doing??
  • Make sure to wash your face before you work out too. Leaving any makeup from the day on there starts a little clogged pore/bacteria party - then hello breakouts! I wipe my face thoroughly with baby wipes before and after my work out (and with a clean towel during!) and then wash my face with cetaphil as soon as I get home.…
  • Hiya, You have to have a strap - the rest of them are rubbish! Honestly, it's never bothered me. It sits just under my bra strap so sometimes I forget it's even there until I get home and have a shower! The worst part is putting it on - it's cold! :) I have a Garmin FR60 (a present from my awesome supportive boyfriend!).…
  • Hi guys, Sounds like you're all off to a great start, good on you! I'm very proud :D I did W2D1 on monday and actually felt really good doing it - I run at 6.5 (I assume it's km's!) and walk at 6, both on an incline of 1. I totally thought I wouldnt be able to do it, but I did! Definately appreciating the extra walking…
  • I weigh myself every day but just to have an idea of how I'm doing. I find it motivating to see any changes, because then I'm more inclined to make better food choices, "Better not have that bicsuit, the scales were up!" I record my weight once a week - first thing after my morning wee ;) For whatever reason Saturday seems…
  • Thanks, Sally! Nothing beats fresh, does it Will definitely look out for ostrich!
  • I live in the UK at the moment and I miss 'roo steak sooo much!! It's tastey as hell and so good for you - lean with lots of protein! I like it chopped into large chunks, stir fried briefly in garlic and then add soy sauce right at the end - the meat literally soaks it up. Nomnomnomnomnoms! You definately have to like your…
  • HOW DID I NEVER NOTICE THAT IT'S HIM BEFORE?! Thank you, you've changed my life for the better.
  • I tend to skip all the stuff at the start where he's rediscovered the book as an adult (that's a bit weird and TMI about the girl at the pool..), and I can't count the number of people who have read it and asked me if Morgenstern is a real author *face palm* You're so right about the translation - they did an AWESOME job!…
  • Haha, good one! You're gonna love it!! :D
  • Thanks, J! It's so nice to have people encourage you who actually know what you're on about! :D I know it's a massive factor, and that they must be so over seeing overweight people with medical problems, but I find it really hard to find a doctor who has the time of day to talk to you about what else is going on in your…
