The Costco hotdog and drink. Damn!! 500+cals for the dog alone!. I don't fill the cup full, just over 1/2 including ice.

In Canada we call them Donairs. They have the spicy meat with diced tomatoes and onions. Our "donair sauce" is different too...sweeter than tzatziki sauce. One of our chain restaurants has a Super Donair that also has pepperoni and cheese on top. I know what you mean about huge. Ours come in 1/4lb(regular), 1/2lb (med),…

18g protein?? Do they put protein powder in it? Most protein bars don't even have 18g protein.

I didn't think I was an emotional eater before. My (personal) definition of an emotional eater was like "Oh, boohoo. I'm so sad/lonely/whatever. I need some food to make me feel comfortable. Food is my friend." So I decided I'm not like that so I must not be an emotional eater. But then, after tracking everything on MFP I…

I must have missed this thread. Saint John, New Brunswick in the house!!

if I remember correctly, pure, unrefined coconut oil has that coconut smell and taste. If yours has no taste, maybe it is refined oil?

I don't think its a hoax, but certainly not ideal for weight/measurement. Mike Tyson in his prime (5'10", 215lbs) according to BMI would be grossly obese, when we all know he was nowhere near obese. Similar to bodyfat % scales. I believe the only "true" ways to measure bodyfat% are calipers when used by a professional and…

Personally, no. If I'm "bad" and eat poorly for a meal or even a day I log it all so I can see my weak moments. Not logging doesn't make the extra calories disappear from your midsection.

324lb @ 5'7". Never again.

So, what do you do after the two weeks?

Your picture doesn't look like you're not losing weight at all. There is quite a noticeable difference. Keep at it.

If you like bottles citrus green tea, why don't you try some lemon juice and a little honey or Stevia in it. I also do not like the taste of green tea, so I don't drink it. ETA: I also heard you can introduce yourself to green tea by making it with one green tea bag and one regular tea bag. As you get used to the taste,…

Several "last straws". - painful knees and feet. - too fat for amusement park rides - like Kevin Smith; too fat to fly. - 50" pants too tight. Not yet at goal weight, but have changed all of the above. Yay!

I don't get why users enter data into the db only to be incomplete or incorrect. I mean, why bother putting it in?
-
Yes, they are gross. I failed to mention that in my post above.

LOL. I know it. I thought I'd do good steering clear of the Blizzards and getting a small dipped cone instead...cha ching! 320 calories later for the small. Guess it wasn't that much better.

...Just don't choose the Panini sandwiches. I was appalled to find the Grilled Cheese Panini was 600 cals!

I used to be a medium double-double drinker but as of late I have cut out the sugar and am getting used to medium double cream. I'm not sure of the MFP data for a Tim's coffee w/ double cream. On here is says 140 cals which I thought was high. if I choose one medium black coffee (0 cals) and then choose 6 tbsp. of 18%…

Same here. Doritos and Pepsi cannot be in my house. If they are, they don't last the night.

Playing devil's advocate and not knowing the OP or her husband, some men would do that subconsciously; they don't intend to "sabotage" the wife's progress. Sure, the upside is that the man is getting to have a new and sexy wife again but (for the insecure male) the downside is that she is now also getting noticed by other…

If I know in advance that I'm going out for supper (especially if it's a place that doesn't have many low calorie options), I'll make it a point to have a lighter lunch and also skip my mid-afternoon snack. That way if I do go over my calories, it's not a crazy huge amount.

Nice work!

Whenever I'm at a buffet or potluck dinner, I try to keep my portions in terms of 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup, 1/3 cup, etc. That way when I log it, they are already in measurement units and if I'm lucky, the entry in MFP is already in cup units. Else I then have to convert grams or ml to cups.

At 125lbs you probably don't have much to lose so the weight will not fall off you as fast as it will off a heavier person. You haven't mentioned how long you have gone without losing.

Actually, I never liked the taste of diet sodas, so I only drank the real stuff when I drank it. I did notice a difference after reducing the regular soda. But I have found that I don't crave the fizzy in the evenings since I've switched to infused water. Also I am drinking more water which is also a plus.

Lately I've really gotten into fruit-infused water. Not "flavored water" that you buy. Real water with slices of lemon, lime, orange in it. Let it infuse overnight in the fridge. I've also started drinking Perrier for when I'm really jonesing for the fizz.

I feel bad for you landlocked folks. I live in a seaport city on the east coast. Seafood is plentiful and cheap. e.g. Lobster is currently $3.50/lb. Scallops, mussels $3/lb and clams are $1.99/lb. Lots of fish too but salmon is the farmed variety. If we want wild salmon we have to opt for the more expensive Pacific salmon.
