  • personally i always allow myself xmas eve, xmas day and boxing day to eat what i want then that gives me 5 days to debloat before wearing my LBD on NYE!!! it is xmas afterall ... eat, drink & be merry!!!!! :laugh: :drinker:
  • I had the ultra... Got rid as thought it was a fad then I actually missed it lol so bought the zip but I now have the one on pre order too!!... Love how it syncs via Bluetooth to my phone so all the data is in live time!!!

  • You'll find their customer service is excellent & will probably replace it... I believe the ultra is known for cracking etc so the new version the fitbit one is due out in a couple of weeks & sits in a silicone case to stop the cracking also syncs via Bluetooth to your iphone 4/5

  • I'm the same at weekends.. If I'm not working then ill usually set my goal to maintenance & with some added exercise calories you'll have plenty to play with. If I'm out with friends though I don't bother logging as I wanna enjoy myself & not let this control my life!!.. 1 day off won't hurt

  • I'm on holiday right now & due home tomorrow think I've gained about 7lbs but most will be water weight... I plan on doing lots of exercise plenty of water & lots of protein to keep me full as I know it'll be a shock to the system once I start afresh Sunday

  • calories always add up to more as on ww you dont count fruit and veg for example in points i was also confused by this when i was tracking both but after a couple of weeks i could see this site was more realistic in the long term as food in real life doesnt come with a points value but everything comes with a calorie value…

  • i started off on 1200 and found i was only hungry if i didnt use those calories wisely!! it all depends on you personally, what works for one may not work for another.. me personally if i eat more than about 1400 a day regardless of exercise i find it hard to lose and im 154lbs and 5"6.. play around and see what works for…
  • one thing I've learned from here is if your hungry eat!!.. Your body obviously needs more fuel.. I used to always go to bed hungry on 1100-1200 calories a day & I'm losing more weight now im eating more!!
  • On weds I had an enexpected night out then to a Chinese buffet!!.. I consumed about 3200 over my daily allowance however when I finished logging today I was still under my weekly allowance by 638 calories so the way I see it is if you have a day like that don't worry aslong as your still under your weekly goal it should be…
  • I love mine however havnt been able to use it the past 2 days as its gone dodgy by over estimating calorie burn!.. Mine went up today by 500 calories in like 2 minutes!!.. It would appear that alot of people are having this problem so hopefully it'll be resolved soon but it is a good device to see what your burn is on lazy…
  • You burn calories just by sat down & breathing!!... Hence why by midday you were at whatever number of calories you were at!!.. It's not faulty & is very good on estimating calories burned
  • It depends on the type of wine some have about 500 & others 600 the ones I had yesterday were 585 a bottle.. I barcode them & it came with exact match so I think the calories were right..
  • yeah I've read up on the whole zig zag thing & from what it says it is an accepted method & does work. I suppose it's good to keep your body guessing & thus your metabolism going as opposed to your body getting used to a certain number every day.. I don't splurge that much usually & as I've said I'm gonna change my drink…

  • Thanks!.. & I agree with your theory too actually.. I usually have 1 day off a week where I don't log & eat & drink plenty of calories but the week after I've still lost weight so it must work for some people!!
  • my cheat day is easily in excess of 4000 calories as id have 2 bottles of wine which is about 1000 calories then easily 3000 if not more on food its amazing how much more you eat and drink when in a big group of people.. hasnt done me any harm though still lose every week
