Your calories are too low. Your BMR is around 1600, that's just what your body burns without doing anything, add in little to no exercise and it goes up to around 1900. To loose around a pound a week you'd be better at around 1500 or 1600 calories per day. Don't even worry about adding in or eating back exercise calories.…

How frustrating. And why would they care if someone is shaving reps? I don't care what anyone else does. And have probably done a few less reps from time to time just because I loose count! I am medically not able to run so any running I power walk instead. Depending on the WOD I may shorten the distance (some WODS all I…

I actually track and eat 1600 calories in a day ( I track 85% of the time, just depends on my schedule). When I first lost weight that was the number that did the trick for me. I tried less but got no results. Occasionally I am over, we love our monthly pizza night, but really try to stay at 1600 or within 50.

So I started in March and other then gains in strength have not seen many changes. My weight and measurements are still pretty much the same. I previously lost 40# by doing tracking at staying at 1600 calories, workout videos at home, zumba and walking. I still walk but CrossFit has replaced my other workouts. Do to knee…

I am in about the same boat. I do CrossFit and have 35-40lbs more to lose. My diet is okay but I need to tighten it up a bit. While I am gaining strength from Crossfit I am not loosing much, I think I need more cardio then I am getting.

I have been doing CrossFit since March. I love it! The WODs are always hard but I find them fun. The community at the box I go to is great. I find that I am not losing weight and very little in inches. I think I actually need more cardio then I am getting at the box so am trying to figure out how to fit biking into my…

It's not really the medication causing hair loss, it's your body adjusting to it and to better thyroid levels. I don't know of anyone who experienced that. Taking the thyroid meds is going to bring your levels back into normal healthy range. If you were losing rapidly because of a thyroid problem you may plateau or gain a…

I get days that are totally off too. My Endo has no explanation but I talked to my OBGYN and she felt it was hormone related. The thyroid is interconnected to so much that it can be affected by changes in other hormones. That is just her theory. Another thought I had after some research is that people with normal thyroid…
