doing IM safety last weekend, several of the athletes were swimming off course, so I'd say practice sighting and stay on course as much as possible ... maybe find someone to sight or draft off of,,, finding and sighting off a landmark is sometimes easier than the bouys Connie

You can do it, can't wait to hear the race report
-
Good luck to you !! I'm doing IM Cozumel in 2014 for my 50th birthday. I start swimming again with my masters group tonight .

good luck ... I am doing a women's only race Aug 11 a little less intimidating without the boys

So far hubby has liked the healthier dinners and while he wasn't a fan of ground turkey he ate it , I have since started using lean ground beef, 93/7 and eat smaller portions with a salad when making something geared more to his liking

Awesome job and congrats on your first triathlon.

You made it 2/3 of the way, you will probably be more ready to race again knowing you stopped when needed to!! I volunteered for Racine 70.3 on Sunday as kayak support and the water was extremely rough, we pulled 60 out of the water that could not go on .... and another 140 picked up their numbers and either did not get in…

Awesome, I hope to join you next year in Racine, you did amazing and it was fun and inspiring meeting you after the race, I agree the waves were Hugh and you did amazing , congrats on your journey and 70.3 race

My first tri I did ...I didnt even know how to swim freestyle ... but was comfortable in the water since we had a pool growing up ... I would say you could do any distance you think you could make it thru swimming, since your bike and run times are good once you get out of the water you will probably pass alot of people on…
