I know it may not be a possibility, but if you suggest to the gym they buy one, and they maybe cant afford it, as I believe the YMCA gyms are not like a big chain gym? I wouldnt run again this soon on, I'm doing the C25K programme, I'm repeating week 3 as the jump to 4 was just a bit to much, dont overdo it, otherwise by the time you get to week 3 or 4 you will really struggle as you will burn out to quickly. 14 glasses of water today, was so thirsty whilst I was at the gym, cant remember how much exercise, think its about 170 mins give or take a bit, (cant be bothered to flick screens to find out!hehe) I'm not weighing in for a while, so wont update that until the end probably. I moved to WK 4 yesterday, and I found it very difficult! The jump to two 3 mins runs and two 5 mins runs from 90 seconds and 3 mins respectively is a lot! I done the first 2 runs, then I had to skip the 2nd 3 min one, and only done 4 mins of the last 5 mins, it was a killer!

I find having the break boosts my motabalism a bit, I normally still walk on rest days, but I wont do anything else, and I dont beat myself up if I dont walk or whatever, but I'm careful of what I eat on those days.
