  • I´m basicly in the same boat ... faithfully logged and lost alot of weight, but my whole body has gone downhill lately and i´m back to where I started 2 years ago. Why does it take hard work one way and the other way - it happens like overnight? :) Friend request sent to you!
  • The rice and pea protein both have funny after taste. But are great in baking protein muffins, pancakes and homemade bars... So you can still use whatever you bought and didn't like :)
  • I have celiac disease, so would definitely back up the person who suggested going to have the tests done. It is kind of a jungle out there and you will meet so many different opinions and suggestions. Fx. Spelt is NOT glutenfree but people who "only" have problems with wheat can usually eat it, where celiacs can't eat it.…
  • Feel free to send a friend request. I started MFP last year trying to get myself in gear because of the same reason. Used so much time on my son that I was only going downhill myself!
  • Son is diagnosed aspergers and I see clearly now why I often have a hard time communicating with my husband on certain issues. Although he might not be enough to get a diagnosis. But my son is more troubled by it. Mainly social wise. He doesn't have real friends, only the kids he skypes with and the others in school. But…
  • Just did the 5 days of attack and wasn't starving at all, but we were 4 girls from work who started and after 15 days one girl already lost 5kg. I only lost 1.5 kg on 5 days but I was frightened because she (girlfriend from work) had a massive migraine attack and was rushed to the hospital in ambulance as they feared a…
  • I haven't been on message boards for ages but am still struggling with my 10 year old daughter. My son s doing great and has now been down in normal weight range since fall. He's also grown 2-3 cm, so now it's just maintenance for him. With my daughter , she's actually quite active but also has a very sweet tooth and…
  • Same weight - but that´s ok as I know I haven´t been doing much this past month - and now Nov. 1st is a new start for me. Time to get myself back on track before I loose track :)
  • Todays weigh in: 137.3 lbs So my hard week of dammage control after my weeks holidays is already starting to help (thank God!)
  • Sorry haven´t weighed in lasat week...my mom is visiting and uups! 138.4 lbs. Have been enjoying her visit so much. But haven´t seen for for 2 years. Promise I´ll be back on track starting Monday!!
  • My kids do a MFP sort of thing but they´re doing theirs in Danish so they can see the "right" food. I like MFP better as I use my phone AND am having more luck on here. I find it more motivation with the different groups and so on! But hope having MFP friends will help your children! Mine are helping each other and me!…

  • Really great!! If you click far enough into it - you can see meal suggestions for 1200 cal/ 1400cal and so forth - with suggested portion sizes and everything.
  • Hate this. I check from my phone, so don´t see groups often either!!

  • Weight October 5th = 136.4 lbs I worked all week to get the 1 kg off which I gained last weekend (at a work conference where there were almost no veggies to choose) to weigh in almost the same :)
  • I´m still in - just didn´t get weighed Friday as I was away for work and got home last night - well the kids wouldn´t let me rest for a minute and I had ended up forgetting my weekend bag in the trunk of the car with the girl I was with - so off I went to pick that up. Then home and crash on the couch. But weight was down…
  • Sorry I didn´t see the post before now as I can´t see message boards on my phone and as you have written - school has started! So not much time to be online :) We bake healthier alternatives on weekends and use very few processed foods. Ideas - mini pizzas (whole wheat crust, sauce, low fat cheese, ham and pineapple) -…
  • Breast milk!! This is funny - do you think it comes low or not fat ?
  • I make a salad with avocado, tomatoes, red peppers, onions (or spring onions) and cucumbers. All diced and with a sqeeze of lemon + 1 tbsp of olive oil and a bit of garlic salt on. For a meal I sometimes throw in a few black olives and low fat feta. Quite high in fats, but the healthy types.
  • Sorry I didn´t weigh in yesterday - couldn´t get on a computer and I can´t see threads properly on my phone. :ohwell: Weight: 136.4 lbs (small loss - but I knew these last 4-5 lbs will be the hardest!!)
  • Good work Karyn! Feel free to add me if you like. Have a 12 year old son diagnosed with asperger last January and like you - I was so overwhelmed with the whole process (which took 2 years), that I forgot to watch out for me...
  • My daughter didn´t like milk that much either as a toddler, but she does drink it now (almost 10). She says she likes partly skimmed milk better but Iwas told what your Dr. was saying - only whole milk until the age of 1year. I was also told to make sure she had a multi-vitamin every day which covered the basic vitamins/…
  • No loss either here, but I know my weight does wierd 3 week cycles...so can´t wait for the next 2 weeks to go
  • How long has he been there and how old is he? (just curious :) I have a son who is 12. He was off school for over a year last year and ended up with diagnosis of Asperger and anxiety. He was only in day treatment and was at home all the time. They tried to offer us weekend care but we wanted him at home, as he rarely…

  • Hope you have met understanding at your assessments and that you are on the right path
  • Weight today (09.07.): 62.2kg (137.1 lbs) Final Goal: 58 kg (127.8 lbs) But my goal for new years will be - 60 kg/132.2 lbs:happy: Guess that´s a small loss compared to some, but I´m now at the point where I really have to work at this - even to loose 100 grams!!
  • Big news!! My 12 year old entered the healthy BMI range when he was weighed today  He has been working so hard the last5 months and has lost 5 kg. He has also grown 2 cm so he now qualifies for a "normal" number. So proud of his hard work.
  • Sounds good!! I´m in
  • Also just finished a challenge. Am sure up for a new one, if it´s open for more - are you starting a closed group where we can write to each other?
  • Yes - How stupid!! Of course these Dr´s had no idea of how bad you felt or they would not have said that.
