Yeah, so, I'm nowhere neat done, but decided to take some pictures today and compare to a couple of months ago. About 194. <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v306/beautyxschoolxdropout/?action=view¤t=100_5418.jpg" target="_blank"><img…

SERIOUSLY Y'ALL. Eating fruit on an empty stomach only is so important. If you do it: You will lose weight. You will win the lottery. Your MIL will cease being evil. You will never grow old. You will have nothing but good hair days forever. Your team will always win the superbowl. You will never have to wait in line for…

I myself always make sure to eat SOMETHING as soon as I can stomach it after waking up. I usually chug at least 8 oz. of water and have a banana or piece of wheat toast or something to jumpstart my metabolism... If you are going to work out after I wouldn't recommend you eating a full, heavy breakfast before working out,…

That sounds really good, thanks for sharing!

Total crap. http://thehealthblogger.com/fruits-with-or-without-a-meal/ http://www.snopes.com/medical/myths/coldwater.asp

I think it's more of a convenience issue for most people. I can go to McD's (ew, by the way, haha) and get a double cheeseburger, fries, and a HUGE over-sweetened sweet tea for $3.00 plus tax. It's almost too easy to find cheap, unhealthy food. Eating healthy does require extra effort, and in some cases, extra money. I get…

If you work at a desk, you can do what my mom does. She has one of the weighted exercise balls, and every now and then throughout the day replaces it for her desk chair. You have to use your core muscles ALOT to stay balanced on that thing, more than you realize. And there are easy, sweat-free workouts you could do indoors…

What about garlic pills?

Not sure how you feel about tomatoes, but I just found out I liked them this year. They're good in EVERYTHING.

The sanitation worker at the dump asks if you've lost weight, and tells you look great. Haha, seriously. I see this guy as infrequently as I can swing it and didn't even know he noticed me, but he asked if I'd lost, and how much I'd lost, and told me I look great. Totalllllly made my day, haha.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. I don't see how it could really do anything. I just wanted to know. My biggest insecurity is my giant pot belly-- If I relax, I get asked if I'm pregnant. Sigh. Oh well! :) Thanks!

Haha, I'd make a terrible full-blown vegetarian, I move meat too much! But who knows, stranger things have happened. :)

I will have to hunt for a good bike shop around here and do some browsing, figure out a way to save up. Thanks y'all. :)

My page won't load some of the other posts, so I'm not sure if someone else has mentioned it... Google the 'Couch to 5k' plan. I'm starting it this week!
-
Wait wait wait, your boobs shrink?! I knew I wanted to lose weight for a reason! :D
-
I'm about to start the couch-to-5k program this weekend!
-
Wow. I'm inspired now! I needed that. Good work, y'all!

Ditto!

A friend of mine and I are both training to run in a 5k in August! It's tough, isn't it? But the end result is going to be awesome! Be sure and let us know how your progress goes.

My name's DeAnna. :) I technically started my diet on Jan 1st for New Years but lost track in March. My original starting weight was 208, lost about 18 pounds. I've been at 190 until last week, when I started again and found this site. So my starting weight: 190 Current Weight: 187.5 Goal Weight: 165

This is one of my favorite recipes! I've been making it since I learned to cook. It's also good with a little dill weed sprinkled on it.

I work the night shift too. I've gotten to the point where I will only bring healthy foods with me so that if I feel like I must eat, I can do it without undoing my day. I usually bring cucumbers or pineapple, cereal with organic (less cals than regular) skim milk, and make sure to have lots of water in the fridge so it's…

Singfree, thanks for breaking it down for me. :) If I continue to bike, I'll probably invest in a road bike in the future, but at this point my bikes do me just fine. :) Unfortunately I'm off the bike for a day or 2, I wore the wrong pair of short yesterday and my seat scratched the insides of my thighs to where it hurts…

Something very similar happened to me, I know exactly what you mean. I had a nice digital watch that was a gift from my then-boyfriend, and a pair of sunglasses stolen from the locker at the gym one time. I don't understand the gall of someone helping themselves to another's belongings, but I guess there are just some…

I know what you mean-- The beach cruiser I have, my parents gave me for Christmas when I was like 12 or 13, I don't even remember! It's an Earth Cruiser though, a quality bike, which surprised me 'cause my family is full of tightwads, lol. :) But I told them I wanted an orange bike, so an orange bike I got. I treat that…

I wouldn't try to do that, there's no healthy way to do it. But. If I was feeling silly and decided to do it anyway, I'd go atkins. But that's just me. Please be safe! You could lose maybe another pound or 2 before then if you eat great and exercise alot!

2 things. 1, whenever I get like that, which is OFTEN!, I find something I can feast on without any guilt. There is a farmer's market right down the street from my house that has HUGE seedless cucumbers. I usually cut one of those up with a little sea salt and it satisfies my need to snack without undoing my day. 2, if the…

I have 2 bikes-- One is just a beach cruiser that I ride mainly for leisure, and the other is I believe what's considered a mountain bike? It's nothing special, but it has gears which comes wayyy in handy, especially where I live. (Smack in the middle of farm country, so you're against the wind hard one direction no matter…

This just inspired me a bit! I thought I was downa few pounds but my scale jumped back up to where it was a few days ago again! So frustrating, but here's to hoping I'll have luck like yours. congratulations! 8 pounds, that's great! :)
