To me there is no alternative to pasta. I just try not to eat it more than once a week but otherwise i just count it just like any other meal.

You can rent videos or dvd's from the library, or you tube workout videos or if you have a droid or smart phone you can do the nike training club. It has a bunch of interval workouts on it. Someone here mentioned it and i love it, it tells you how to do each move if you need it to and it times you for each move.

I had to really think on this one. This is my last bad habit (i think?) and i believe it is going to be the hardest for me to quit. I drink diet soda and put sweet n low in my coffee. LOL...Love that show! I think it is a matter of preference. I prefer to eat my fruits and vegetables instead of juicing them but if it helps others get their fruits and veggies that way more power to them.

I think you need to concentrate on logging correctly. There are days you don't log at all and some days you log only 150 calories and some days up to 500 calories. I went back to around 2 weeks. We got my son one last year for Christmas. It is really nice, it is quiet and he likes that he is on his real bike for it. We paid a lot for it though, so i don't know if the cheaper ones are louder. But there are different price points out there. I wish i had known they existed before i bought my exercise bike.
