  • I just used syrup because i did not have any fruit. Jam would be good too. Just top with what you would normally use. They taste just like regular pancakes (or real close).
  • I have the cheap walmart one too. Mine is a Golds Gym one. It's ok, works fine but the first post is right, it eats batteries. I would try to find one that plugs in instead or that can be either way. I also have a treadmill and an exercise bike so i don't use the elliptical as often.
  • also saving for later reading
  • Thinking like this is what helped me quit smoking. When i thought of never having a cigarette again it was very scary, but then i would think "just get thru today and if you really, really have to have one you can tomorrow". And when tomorrow would come, i did not want to ruin the hard work i put in the day before. And…
  • Only make enough for one portion. I have this issue with pasta and can only make one serving size at a time or i will Always eat the rest.
  • This one looks delish, have you tried it yet?
  • Someone posted about a protein site where i found these amazing looking pumpkin pancakes. Check it out, they also have pumpkin pie oatmeal and apple crepes that look very good too. All recipes are high protein. http://highproteinfoods.org/pumpkin-cinnamon-protein-pancake-recipe/ Ingredients 1/2 cup Pumpkin (not pumpkin pie…
  • I am 5'1" 125 lbs and i just measured myself for the first time yesterday. I always knew i did not have much of an hourglass figure but geesh... Hips: 35 waist: 34 That is what i am working on right now, my waist. I always hold all my fat right around my belly button. But i do think it is getting smaller, it is about the…
  • I think anything that is above what you do now will work. Walking does not really burn a lot for me but may for others. I still walk everyday because it is so good for you and my dog loves it! You may have to up your workouts as you get more fit but you can work that out as you go.
  • My treadmill will do a fat loss workout with interval speed and hills. When it is a hill it is at the faster pace. I do this if i need to burn a lot of calories for the day and i put it at a level 7 or so. It is a tough workout but a good burner. Otherwise just set your treadmill for high hills, that usually burns a good…
  • That is incredible results in 4 months! Good job
  • By the way, i read this on IBS (from a local nutritionist in my area) and it helped me to understand it more. I also tried the white diet like she recommended in the beginning and it does help. I also used to use it when it was that time of the month and i was afraid of eating anything.…

  • I had about 2 or 3 bad years of stomach issues. I went to the Dr and he said i had IBS. I was only in there about 10 minutes and he did not do anything but said if i have a sensitive stomach, i have IBS. I made him test me for gluten intolerance and that came out ok. So i decided to completely change my diet. I have found…

  • When i look at the link you posted it looks like you lost equally all over. Great results, you should be proud of that. You will get there. I agree that the stomach is the last to go, i am still working on it too!
  • You look great! Awesome dress!
  • I have never tried a spin class, but i want to. The times they hold them don't usually work for me though. I did try a spin class on you tube the other night and it was fun. I can see where the classes would be fun to go to. But if you have an exercise bike you can try one at home.
  • You look great! Makes you look younger too
  • You have plenty of time to train before March. Google training for a half marathon and a lot of different programs will come up. Just choose one that will work for you. Make sure you do one long run a week. I just completed my first in October and i did long runs on Sunday, that is where i added miles. I always took Monday…
  • Wow, everything looks so good!
  • I think at 21 you probably will have some ups and downs. The important thing is that you learned how to eat healthy. So most likely your ups and downs will be minor.
  • If that is considered "his" space, move it to a place that is considered "your" space. Eventually it will end up back in the basement because it probably makes the most sense there. But at least he will see that it is important to you and you are not going to give up.
  • My fastest 5K was 25.8. I only achieved this because a younger girl decided to push me. Odd because i did not know her. I have not ran any since, just the 1/2 marathon where i was not really going for speed..mostly distance. It made me rethink what i am capable of though.
  • Allow yourself just one day. I find if i do this i am much pickier on what it is. I will only do something i really, really want because it is my one time i can.
  • By the way, i do not devote a whole room to an exercise room. I put all my pieces of equipment in the family room in the basement. I always felt if i had to go in a room by myself i would not use it. It was put where the rest of the family likes to hang so i could be with them when i work out. I tried to buy the quietest…
  • I have a treadmill, elliptical and an exercise bike along with weights, and a hoist machine, dvd's etc. I find the treadmill gets used about 3 or 4 times more than any other piece of equipment we have. I do prefer to walk or run outside but in WI it makes it a bit tougher. It is dark when i get home from work from now…
  • Enter it in as a recipe. You can enter each ingredient and just figure if it is pie shaped how many slices you are going to cut it into (i usually do a pie in 8) and figure it that way. (it is not going to be exact) Nice part is next time you make it you just find your recipe and hit how many servings you had. i enter all…
  • What is foam rolling? Never heard that one
  • Bumping for later. Thanks for the tip for Nike Training club, will try that one. You can also pick up videos from your local library. Good way to try before you buy.
