Not 100% sure I am right with this...but it could be to do with her stride length...you can set your stride length in Fitbit....so it measures your distance more accurately.... All I know is I enter my food into MFP and let the Fitbit (charge HR) do the rest.....I set my band of manually when starting a workout...then change the name of that in FB dashboard...so there I have a log of all my workouts.....the rest takes care of itself for me.......
