Still reading along. IT's been an interesting week after doing ETL for 6 weeks. I'm up a few pounds, but holding, and on the way back down. I started swimming laps, and we tried a lentil taco recipe that I really loved (5 and 7 year old were not impressed). I don't care though, I need to get healthier meals in. Baby steps.

Elena, I plan on posting in success stories sometime today (hopefully) about the 6 week plan, so I'll post a link to the group! Final weight loss for the 6 weeks: 26 pounds!!! Not bad at all. :)

I just finished dinner, which means I have officially finished the 6 week plan!!!!!!!!!! There are only 3 times I can think of that one could say I "cheated", but I think I did a pretty good job! :). Ah, such a relief.

Oh, and I'm .8 pounds away from losing all of my baby weight!!! When I started this almost 6 weeks ago, I never thought I'd get that weight off in 6 weeks when I've been struggling with it for over a year. Even though I still have a long way to go, getting off that weight makes me a feel indescribably better.

Thanks, Sabine! :) Mihani: Everyone keeps asking me what I'm doing after. I really don't know!!! When I started this, I just wanted to lose some weight, and help my sugar cravings. I wasn't sure that I'd even finish it! And now I only have 5 meals left, and I don't know what I want to do! I know I don't want to be vegan,…

Hey ladies! I've been lurking, but not posting. This weekend is my last on the 6 week plan, ahhhhhhh!!!!

Thanks so much, you guys! I added some lemon earlier, it made it a little more tolerable. I think strawberries might help, too, I'll try that next time. Thanks for the link, Mihani, I'll try stuff from there, too.

Wow, that's awesome that his parents eat that way. My parents eat horribly. :/

Sabine, I don't know, maybe it's not a bunch of water weight. It would be nice to see it for myself :) I often see this quote: "It takes 4 weeks for you to see your body changing; it takes 8 weeks for your friends and family; it takes 12 weeks for the rest of the world. Don't give up." I think I've just lost so much weight…

lia: thanks! This has definitely kick started my diet, that's for sure! I've been bummed for the past year at my last 20+ pounds of baby weight. now I have a little under 4 pounds to go!!! I keep seeing people mention OSG?? What does that stand for? Your meals sound great! whats_her_name: I'm sorry you didn't get your work…

Everyone is so chatty, I'm having a hard time keeping up! Sloth: I'm getting bored with all the food I've been eating, I wish it all tasted awesome! :/ Mihani: I slip a lot, too. Sometimes I feel like I'm in a downward spiral, especially this past year. My third child has really done me in. Super needy, doesn't sleep well,…

Lia, I felt like I was being super difficult. "um, this is not a veggie patty, it is a hamburger patty... I just want a veggie burger, with onions, mushrooms, and lettuce." Never did get my lettuce, but I'm sure everyone around me was done hearing me talk about my order! Mihani, I hope tomorrow is less stressful for you.…

You've got that right, Mihani! I haven't eaten out much since I started the 6 weeks, but when we do, I always have to look ahead and see what they have. Some vegetarian items are also vegan, so that helps.

I need to catch up on everyone, but cauliflower wings definitely sound interesting!

Posted this in the wrong thread.

I can't find the tofu love. MakePeas, I should hide veggies in sauce more often, too!! I went out on a date with the husband last night. Made good choices, but had to send my food back because they brought me a meat patty instead of a veggie patty. I feel for people who have legitimate food issues, they mess up special…

Thanks! I honestly don't think this plan supplies enough protein. My body has been screaming for eggs, so I've been trying to eat more nuts and such. Eggs are the first thing I'll eat when this is done! I haven't been working out either, because I don't have the calories and protein to spare.

I'll have to try that sometime, Sabine. I weighed in today, and have lost 17.2 pounds in 4 weeks. Not bad at all! I'm curious to see what the next 2 weeks will bring, but if I lose nothing, it won't be a huge deal. I'm just ready to be finished with the restrictive part!

Thanks for all the input, it helps to hear from people who are familiar with it. Thankfully, I don't drink alcohol, or coffee, so that isn't an issue for me. I do miss cheese though!

Thanks, Mihani and Sabine! I didn't think it was fair to make my husband and 3 kids all do this diet, too. Quite frankly, not sure I could handle the whining, and it would be even more time consuming and expensive than it already is!!! My husband wanted pizza today, so I made a frozen pizza for them, and made my own pizza…

hey everybody! I joined this group yesterday, and I've enjoyed reading in here. No one I know in real life even knows what ETL is, and all I hear is "Oh, I could never do that!" when I talk about it. Honestly, I haven't even told a lot of people, people seem to find it odd. Right now, my focus is getting out of this…

Haha! Thanks!!!

Thanks everyone! :)

Thanks everyone! And good luck! :)

I gained 4 lbs at some point during the first 10 days, and was up 1.4 lbs when I started level 2 on day 11. However, I had lost an inch. On Day 15, yesterday actually, I was down .4 lbs, and 2 more inches. Today, Day 16, I'm down a full pound from when I started. Give it time! :)
-
Of course, I gained some weight over the summer, but I'll get back there! :)

I'm in! Start Date: 6/29.12 Projected End: 8/29/12 Following Nutrition Guide: Loosely Starting weight(with Insanity): 174.6 Goal Weight(hoping to reach after completion): 165? Not sure what to expect.

When I went to visit home after I'd lost 26 lbs, no one but my Aunt and BFF, who knew I'd lost weight, said anything. When I went home after I lost 30 lbs, everyone noticed.

Fancy that ;) Thank you!
