I agree with all those whose sentiment is that the doctor sees the fat rather than the person, and that's the issue. Of course being overweight is unhealthy. I also think they see their BMI scale rather than the person that is in front of them. BMI scale is rubbish, give me calipers and some scales any day.

I had the same experience, got fitted after wearing a B cup for years...I was a DD! The difference it made to the look of my figure is amazing. I think you need a decent sports bra for exercise, but if you are comfortable in your 'built in' tops the rest of the time then what harm?

Thanks! I'd not really heard of it before. I'd also not heard of turkey sausages! Are protein shakes good for weight loss at all?

I use a local farm shop for fruit and veggies, much cheaper than the supermarket. Also, don't forget the frozen veg and tinned veg that are there, you can buy value versions of these. I always meal plan too, that helps enormously both with calorie watching and also budget. x

Hiya! Good luck to you - I am totally in the same head space when it comes to exercise - I am a member of a gym and have to force myself to go - I seem to go through phases of going regularly, becoming quite fit and a lot slimmer/toned then suddenly stop and blimp again. I just find it so difficult to make myself go!

Haha I just wondered as I was looking at a breakfast thread and all the measures and food seemed like they came from over the water! Cups and pancakes and egg white omlettes!

Fat free yoghurt and fruit, usually a chopped banana + handful of berries. Is everyone here American? I feel like an English minority amongst all the cup measures and pancakes!
