  • I just started bodybeast from beachbody 10 days ago and I love it. It's strictly weights and you can print the worksheets to take to the gym if you don't want to do the actual DVDs.
  • I do realize it's an estimate but, I am just curious as to how they measure since the difference is so great. I tend to think the chest strap with the polar would be a more accurate measurement??
  • What do you mean neither measures calories? A polar HRM is designed to show you your calorie burn....a BM is designed to show you how many calories you burn/eat a day? That makes no sense. Does anyone have a helpful response?
  • Yes I was using TDEE so I have my goals set how I wanted them already taking exercise into account!! Thanks so much for the link going to check it out!
  • How many calories are you eating?
  • I am 5'4". I think diet plays a HUGE part.
  • I was eating around 1500 and then upped to 1800. I eat about that now. I didn't follow the nutrition plan but, I was happy with my diet already. I did drink Shakeology, I am a big believe in it....it's pricey but worth it to me. I run 3 days a week as well. I was running 5 days a week before T25 and had stalled my…
  • Thought I would update. My end of beta photo is my profile picture :) Just finished week 1 of Gamma and starting week 2 tomorrow! Adding full comparison pics :) I am a beachbody coach, I signed up about half way through beta. I did because I had such amazing success and had so many people asking me where to buy T25, so why…
  • You are doing great!!! We are about the same weight. I am 114.4 (today's weight), how tall are you?
  • Start, After Alpha, a few days ago after finishing only 2 weeks of beta (just did week 3 day 3 of beta today). Can't say enough good things about T25!!!!
  • T25 is amazing! Start of Alpha, After Alpha, 2 weeks of Beta
  • I just changed mine to lose .5lbs since I am really "done" losing and it gave me 1570 a day so I think you're safe having an extra snack on rest day. I know your rest days are active too.
  • Thank you! I am so excited to finish Beta because I know the results will be amazing. I LOVE this program! I can't wait to start Gamma! I am hooked!
  • oops quoted myself for some reason, but I Responded above :P
  • I should add that I am a runner and was running 30 miles a week on average when I started....so I do think that really prepared me for the intensity and cardio aspect.
  • There are a lot of squats and lunges, but if you keep the weight in your heels and your form is good your knees shouldn't hurt and they will get stronger and stronger :)
  • I posted my before and after alpha in another thread last night!
  • I just finished week 1 of Beta today. I LOVE T25. Can't say enough good things about it. Major changes in my body and I've dropped past my goal weight! I'm 116.6lbs and 5'4" and was 123.6 when I started Alpha. I can't wait to finish Beta, will definitely order Gamma!!!! PS, not a coach :)
  • I am 5'4". I started out in good shape and honestly thought Alpha wasn't too much of challenge....beta is definitely harder so I am really excited to see the results......I figure if I wasn't challenged as much in Alpha and got great results I should get really great results now :)
  • I wanted to keep the lighting consistent but my abs are really visible in person. I am so happy with my results! I am a mom of 4 including 17m old twins.
  • Once I figure out how to post mine I will, tomorrow finishes up week 1 of beta!
  • I eat dinner around 5-6pm and then have a 200 calorie or so snack around 8pm. I go to bed around 11pm. There is no way I could stop eating at 6-7pm.....I would be starving!
  • I definitely make the same meals....my husband is SO PICKY. We have chicken and 2 vegetables every day for lunch (he works 2nd shift). For breakfast they usually have yogurt or cheese and some fruit. For dinner (kind of like lunch for us since I cook lunch as dinner) they have tortilla pizzas a lot.....sunbutter toast and…
  • I am lucky and have an amazing husband, but my babies are breastfed and he can't help in that area! I can definitely run a half marathon, I could right now! I am cutting back my mileage because I was training for one that was last Saturday (did a 5K instead) but now I am going to do the next one which is 12/1 so I am going…

  • Oh it's not my first 5K. I've ran a ton of 5Ks......all have been sub30 but, that was my fastest time. I have 16m twins and it was my first 5K since before I got pregnant.....I have been running since 8 weeks postpartum though! I think I could have ran a bit faster but I was completely unfamiliar with the course and it was…

  • I got a super cheap little one at Walmart. I just measure before I eat since I cook for my entire family.
  • After my twins were born I did everything 110%. Every bite of food and every workout I gave my all. No cheats, nothing. I lost 4ish lbs a week the first couple of weeks then 1-2lbs a week. I didn't have a ton to lose and I think that makes the difference. This week for instance I have worked really hard with my workouts…
  • Wow, to make dumb people feel good?? Geez. I get super bloated and uncomfortable during my period like a lot of women. I've found drinking lots of lemon water helps relieve that. When I'm out running on my period the last thing I want is my pants squeezing my bloated belly. I'm sure lots of women can relate. Be nice.
