  • I LOVE Mexican food. Something to think about when eating there is... stay away from anything made with flour! I get the beef fajitas minus the tortillas with extra lettuce, quac, and sour cream! I also eat the beans... but no rice. It is more filling them you think. Hope this helps.
  • I am right there with you!!!! I fell off and I fell hard! BUT I took the first step too and went to the gym this evening :) We can do it!!!
  • That is a tough sittuation. I will say that coworkers are not always 100% honest about certain things. Do you workout with her? She may be taking what the trainer said and making into what she wants to hear... does that make sense? Do you have lunch with her? There are a few things you can do to get to know her even…

  • I took these while I was at 24hour Fitness. I had a trainer and she recommended these. I took them but I didn't really "feel" any different and I don't think it changed much in terms of my energy. I don't like when people who get a commission from selling supliments suggests them... it just seems like they are doing it…
  • I was NOWHERE near my goal weight when I went dress shopping or when I got married. But I still found the perfect dress. Most women at the dress shops wanted to put me in the fat girl dresses.... it was so depressing. It took a very long time and I called on the services of my big sis (she does events for a living) and we…
  • What is the calorie count for this meal?
  • I lost a lot of weight my senior year of high school. I was doing great but a year later I decided to get on the Depo... Worst decision I ever made!!!! Not having a TOM was great but I would rather have had 2 every month then be stuck with the weight I gained... I have never been able to get back to where I was... not even…
  • The edamame appetizer is very healthy (steamed soy beans) is the BEST!!!! I HATE sushi but my family loves it. I found a place here that has a veggie sushi... they don't even use the seaweed to roll it up, they use a soy wrapper. It is TO DIE FOR!!!!
  • I DO!!!! I actually went a few weeks back. My husband and I had his neices for a few days and they eat very healthy! Probably the only kids I know that don't like chocolate. We got strawberries and watermelon. I cut it all up and seperated it into little bags. I froze the watermelon so it would be cold and crisp when we…

  • I can not tell you how much I LOVE this story! I was raised to be an animal lover. Growing up we always had 2-4 pets...usually a mixture of cats and dogs. Needless to say we had our share of runaways... both in and out. I am happy to know there are people like you out there! I bet his family was SOOOO happy to have him…
  • I would say swim! Mainly because it is going to be SO hot. And you may end up putting more gunk in your lungs with our lovely pollution warnings. But you may start out with run and then hit the pool.
  • I'm pretty good at logging everything in... but I need to stay within my calorie allowance! That is my goal. I also need to get my workouts in. I have not been to the gym in at least a week.
  • When you tried it were you also using MFP? Also- did you do the whole program or just replace a meal or so a day?
  • I was just looking around and I found this blog! My husband and I have been TTC since March. I am nowhere near where I want to be weight wise but I am healthy even though I am big. I am sad because I do not think I am ovulating regularly due to my weight. I was also on BC for around 10 years. I just got off in December and…
  • I have not had weight loss surgery but my little sis has. She had gastric a little over 2 years ago. She has lost about 150 lbs. She hangs around the same weight but I will say she has had issues with getting the right amount of nutrients. Are you taking your vitamins? Im not sure that will help but it is something to look…
  • There are laws in place to protect employees from discrimination. If your boss treats you different or badly because of this they could be looking at a law suit. Try to stay possitive and know that is something negative happens at work as a result of your condition that you have rights!!!!!
  • AHHH How exciting!!!!! Keep it up!

  • I got a recipe from someone a few weeks ago and I have been making it ever since! It is yummy and quick! You basically cut up a chicken breast and toss it in bread crumbs. Then you cook it in a skillet with 2 tbs of Canola oil and set it to the side. In the same dish saute some onions and add another tbs of canola oil.…
  • WOW! There are a lot of interesting points of view on this post. I do not have kids...yet, but I was raised in military household. My dad was a marine and my mom an ex-marine. I have ALWAYS struggled with my weight. My mom has had eating disorders but even at her biggest has still been tiny. She is a perfect example…
  • This has touched home. I want to go to SIX FLAGS so badly but I am afraid my big butt wont fit anymore. The last time we went I was smaller then I am now and I was on the verge of being too big. Thanks for the story. This will help motivate me as well. GOOD LUCK!
  • From what I have seen/heard from my "super fit" friends, YES! Insanity is the new P90X and they love it.
  • My goulosh has always had cream of mushroom in it! It gives it the creamyness I love. And we don't use peppers. It is interesting how different recipes can be sometimes! But it does sound yummy.
  • Is it possible you might be pregnant?
  • That would be frustrating! Are you working out as well? If so, then remember that you get those calories as well. You may have to stick to grilled chicken for dinner with some veggies!!!! Grab some 100 calorie snack. I have a desk job and they keep me from running to the vending machine!
  • It is Not the #1 healthy pizza but its really tasty and at least you can control what you use! 1.) Get the pillsbury pizza dough. (The instructions are on the casing) 2.) Buy or make your own sauce. 3.) I use a number of cheeses and toppings. This is where you can get as creative or basic as you want. I love this pizza. My…
  • That is so fantastic!!!!! I have a ton of jeans that are way to small. I am holding on to them JUST IN CASE I can wear them again. I would love to try them on again in a few months and have your problem :)
  • I am pretty sure you have to "build" the recipe. But the good news is that you can SAVE it and the next time you cook it or eat it you can just look under your "saved" foods. Hope that helps.
