In terms of logging your activity, just log each thing individually. There are several people who do multiple cardio one day, one thing the next, and so on and so forth. In terms of eating back calories - that is up to you. I will not sway you one way or another. I personally need to eat a small handful of almonds or…

Bumping for later - might have to make this over the weekend........

I use my scale extensively for things like this. I weigh each thing individually and calculate approx serving size (i.e. 1lb ground turkey for an 8 serving recipe - every serving is at least 2 oz of meat) and then I do it as a whole and figure it out. Some are really easy to figure out. Good luck!

I'm down - but not necessarily Gamekeepers - lol

You said you were sometimes shaky after a workout - which kinds of workouts are you shaky after? That will help determine what to eat.

Yours reminded me of another! "Butter my biscuits and call me Shirley!" - pretty much, "well, I'll be damned!"

Heard this on an episode of Supernatural "About as useless as boobs on a man" - kinda explanatory "Wait a cotton-picking minute" - kinda explanatory "I'm gonna slap ya into the second Tuesday of next week" - my dad's favorite phrase when it came to *kitten* whuppin's Loving this thread!

Depending on what you are making, add some beans to it. If you buy frozen and/or dry, they can take all day to cook and are a good source of protein. Or add peanut butter. Ok, the last one was a joke.

Thank you so much!! Based on you guys (or gals in this case), and with some help from my husband (who is better at googling than I am), I found the following site. Again thanks!! Sorry - I'm in the Navy - it stands for 'Physical Training'

I am in the same boat as you are. I just figured out last night that when my depression kicks in (some days are worse than others) is when I want to eat everything I shouldn't (kitkats, chex mix, etc). It's a daily struggle but having friends/family who are willing to help you and encourage you is always the best thing.

True!! I love bananas!!! Next person loves ranch dressing
-
I do because while they might be 0cal, the sodium and/or carbs are kinda high and I need to keep track of those things. The only 0cal thing I don't log is water.
