  • Personally, it's not so much being noticed by guys that I mind. I'm all for having my progress admired, as long as it doesn't affect my comfort zone. If you're obviously staring, or I feel creeped out, that's when it becomes intrusive to me.

  • I was actually wondering if any of you ladies experience the symptoms of bloating and slight weight gain/stalls the week -before- you're due? I've been working out every day this week and staying well below my limit in net calories. My weight continued going down the end of this weekend and has since shot up 2-3 pounds in…

  • Hi guys, It's so great to read all of your stories and see such a wide variety of walks of life. I don't feel I have a whole lot to say about myself in comparison, but I'll try! I'm 29 and recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Computers. I have lost 50+ lbs on MFP a couple years ago -- around the time I got my…

  • I'm 5'7.5" and lost substantial weight in the past on about 1500-1600 calories a couple years ago. I ended up gaining most of the weight back after getting off track. I'm in about my third consistent week with logging and am down to 1200 now because I set my goal at two pounds a week and would rather get the weight off…
  • Hi. How long have you been at this exactly? If a few weeks is under a month, give it a bit more time. Also, are you exercising? Depending on your starting weight and goal you can certainly lose fat without exercise, especially on a low carb diet. But I've found a little daily cardio really accelerates the rate of visible…
  • I was wondering this for myself as well. I have mine set to Lightly Active. I honestly don't move around a whole lot on average, but there are small chunks of the day (33 min - 1 hr) every day where I'll do a very intense cardio elliptical workout. And there's hardly an exception to this happening every day.
  • Night time snacking. Most "bad days" for me actually consist of good days capped with ridiculous dinner/post dinner overeating.
  • When I crave pizza, I'll order Little Ceasar's (250/slice) and eat two. Just wrap the rest up and freeze it immediately. The key is to really savor it and don't be ravenous when you dig in. I love Pepsi myself, though I've had to cut it out. Try Diet Pepsi, or if you must, have a regular one, and log it. If you exercise…
  • Feel free to add me, guys. I have about 40 lbs to lose as a "mini goal" but would ultimately like to be down about 60 lbs. I've yo-yo'ed before and have used MFP to lose weight in the past so I'm hoping having some peer support will help this time around. :)
  • I adore how natural these taste, and give them bonus points for the real fruit chunks they bear. I don't recommend them if you're the kind of person who can't stop at one bar though.
