Mini goal for Saturday achieved, goal for Sunday was to get back in a kayak and have a paddle, also achieved :) Mini goal for today will be to get some arm conditioning in, my ankle is causing so much pain, a walk is out of the question, let alone the running I was doing before injury set in :(

Mini goal today was to walk my son to school, I am recovering from a badly sprained ankle so this was a real test this morning - I made it but am suffering for it now. Tomorrows goal is to stay within target despite going out for dinner :ohwell:

Day 3 going well so far, day 1 and 2 were good too. Struggling with injury so working out is on hold, but eating is controlled. Out for dinner tomorrow night, so could well be a different story lol

If you are a member of a gym ask for an induction! Explain your back issue when you book it and they should ensure that the person that creates a circuit for you is aware and takes it into consideration. Explain to them what you want and they will create a good starting point routine for you. Good luck and enjoy the…

Nicely said!! Too many times people say nothing in fear of saying something wrong - We should all practise letting one and other know "We've got their back"

I think we have both been having a mid diet crisis!! Right back focusing on the next choice with you xx If you ever decide to quit the wonderful world of law, you would make a great columnist by the way ;) Hx

Awesome work, fantastic change and oh my goodness doesn't it feel good to run over that finish line :) Still chasing the sub 30 min 5k myself, so I know where you are coming from - You will do it and the love of running will one day hit you! All of a sudden, mid run, you will realise that you are loving where you are and…

I started the C25K at about 275lbs, I repeated weeks as I needed too, and refused to let it beat me!! Good shoes as everyone else has said are an essential, as is a good running bra - But most important is a determination to do it!! Become a runner - it is a great feeling being out there, and you can do it!!

The trouble with life is that rubbish happens! The strong, like you my friend, get up, dust yourself off and go at it again! We are all going to have days where it is just not going to happen (my yesterday for starters) but the biggest difference between us a year ago and us now is that we know we can do it - We just have…

My son looking for me in the High St a couple of weeks ago and looking straight passed me saying "Where's Mum?" to my husband, When Ed pointed me out, my beautiful boy said "Oh Sorry, didn't recognise you now you have got so much smaller" It is funny how it is the comments of others that make it worth it!
