Everyone has a crutch, mine is creamer in my coffee. I do not measure it exactly. Everything else I measure. I guess that is not perfect but hey, I enjoy the hell out of it. : )

While wearing my HRM, I see a noticeable difference when not holding the rail on an incline on the treadmill. That being said 10-15 BPM faster is harder but does not necessarily mean I am not working my butt off when I do hold on the treadmill. I had the same experience, Precor treadmill says 1100 calories YAY! HRM says 749.....boo! But I figure I will take the lowest to calculate. If is actually higher then it is all a BONUS!

You are doing great things! I wish I could impart some wisdom for you to see yourself as your husband does and the people replying on this forum. Lift weights and drink water! The more lean muscle for the skin to attach to the better. Unfortunately as I am learning time is the other factor. The other things that we have to realize that it may never totally disappear : ( But I am going to try like hell to see it go away! Good luck!

Soda ( occasional diet soda still consumed) Alcohol 98% of all sweet treats (compared to what I used to consume) Fast food TV -to many snacks during TV watching!
