I realize the best way to meet your RDA requirements is from fresh vegetables and fruit, however it would be nice if some health food company out there tried to help us meet them with packaged convenient meals! If anything it would show people the type of food combinations you'd have to make to meet these requirements. At…

I CAN'T WAIT for the day when a TRUE HEALTH FOOD company comes out and lists all the vitamins and minerals on their packaged meals or website. A company that packages food together that is so high in important vitamins and minerals that people will truly see what health food looks like. If I was a millionaire or…

Do the math and you'll see you're eating more each day than what is reported.

This is on every food item! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, they round down. Over the course of a week you are talking hundreds of extra calories.

I think you look beautiful, sexy and hot! I think the tattoos and red hair though will always give you a slightly edgier look and that dress is more prim and proper as sort of a spring dress and doesn't match your look. I think it almost looks like someone forced it on you because it conflicts with the rest. I agree you…

According to livestrong, the TACO BUENO WHOLE LOTTA PLATTER is 2,698 calories. I would think a trip to a buffet would be much much much worse. That platter comes with no dessert and no drink!

I AGREE! One thing that suprised me recently was that Whataburger sweet tea has around 450 calories for a large and when I used to go there I'd drink 2 of those. I'd drink one there and get a refill to go, that's 900 calories! If you look up McDonalds sweet tea, there's is supposedly 280 or so calories for a large and I…

I agree the best way would be to not go. But I think knowing the damage it does ahead of time could help prevent it from occuring which is why I'm curious what that amount would probably be. Think it's something good to consider ahead of time so if it ever comes up, you'll realize you truly are better off going to…

That is actually one thing I really fear! I've read that as well. Just because it says 400 calories on it, they don't all weigh exactly the same and you might actually be getting closer to 450 or even 500! Same goes for slices of pizza as well. You just never really know.

You have to quit eating cereal for breakfast. You just get an instant sugar spike and drop. Try always eating eggs or oatmeal for breakfast. Most people who have the most success with weight loss start their morning off with something strong like that which gets them to lunch. Also you have to look into appetite…

I took a screenshot of it, 5 people confirmed it being accurate..... Powerade Mountain Blast (ON MYFITNESSPAL) http://imgur.com/9Ygb2 56g carb x 4 = 225 calories NOT 200. Do the math, so I don't understand that at all.

I've researched this a lot the last few days and what I've found is if you get your body fat percentage really low, it will go away! Skin is really thin. Have you EVER seen someone with a very low body fat percentage with loose skin? Everyone says there is still fat underneath the skin to be lost. Many times you can…

FIBER is known to draw water/fluids into the intestines and flush them out. It was likely the diuretic effect of the fiber! Magnesium supplements are also known to draw water into the intestines, which is why some people on a low carb diet take them to stay regular.

This thread is pretty inspirational, people share their stories of how they were treated differently after they lost weight!... Were you treated differently after losing alot of weight? http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=898532

If you finish breakfast at 8am, you need to look at the clock and add 4 hours to it and think, I need to eat something again around 12pm. It doesn't have to be exact but just know, the longer you wait after 12pm to eat, the more likely you are to binge or eat horribly. If you finally finish eating at 1pm, start counting…

I agree that the original poster shouldn't be buying the stuff themself because the money spent on that could go towards much healthier alternatives. However, in an ideal world, that's simply not the case. Not everyone around you is trying to lose weight like you are. You'd also have to avoid going to certain people's…

I apologize, I'm new here so assumed the worst. However I did see some where they skipped a day, reported a day, skipped a day, reported a day, etc. and kept posting days afterwards and didn't go back to fill in those missing days. There was someone who posted on the forum asking why they couldn't lose weight and they got…

I say log your entire binge in your food diary and see what the total impact is. It puts it in your face and could really help you realize the damage done. Start thinking in terms of what else you could have instead for the same amount of calories through out the day and it will help put things in perspective!

LOG EVERYTHING. Post what you are eating in your food diary! I've been checking out a number of people's food diary's on here that are public and I notice that many people skip days. I can only assume because they binged/cheated or lost control and are embarrassed to log it. Then I read that one woman on here ate a large…

One thing that has helped me stay motivated is buying new clothes that fits. Research fashion/style and you'll learn that clothes that fits just right (not 1-2+ sizes too large for you/baggy) actually makes you look thinner! In the past as an overweight person I used to wear really baggy clothes and I have since learned…

I used to think this way, but now I strongly disagree. Go on bodybuilding.com forums and search it out and you'll see many who have lost a lot of weight have been on a number of appetite suppresant type things. They are proven to help and I know they aren't the best way but for the love of God, DO NOT GAIN THE WEIGHT BACK…

I recommend writing out a list of why you want to lose weight and how it will change your life and then turn to that list when you feel discouarged or need more motivation to get back on track. The reasons to lose weight have to be greater than the reason to eat those things. Also you CANNOT skip meals. Most binging is…

WHEN YOU LOSE THE WEIGHT, YOU WILL ALSO BE REWARDED WITH THE FOLLOWING.... 1. Reduce your risk of heart attack/heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer and avoid taking meds for the rest of your life. Live longer. 2. Be able to shop for clothes in hundreds of more stores. Be able to find a lot more clothes you…

I read this recently and it has scared me into exercising more! Apparently rapper HEAVY D died from what is known as deep vein thrombosis. This is a blood clot in the legs that loosens up and travel to the heart/lungs/etc. and can kill you. It happened to rapper Heavy D after a long flight of sitting down on an…
