I use to workout after I got off work at 11:30pm for about six months! I switched to mornings so I could attend classes in the a.m. So now I workout before my 12hr shift on my 7days on. On my 7 days off I do some mornings and evenings (5p.m.) if my kids want to workout. either is good for me because I have to get up and…

The fact that you did 60 when you didn't want to, shows that you are dedicated to your fitness!

Find a weight training program. Perfect your form so when you start to lift heavy, you will have control over the weights. Do cardio to lean out . Training with the weights will give you amazing results.

You both will do great in the gym! Take the classes they offer when you can. You will learn a lot in them, hopefully. My gym routine is Powercut on Monday, tabata/ TRX on tues. Either I workout on my on Wednesday or I take another class. Thursday PowerCut again( love this weight training class) and Friday cycle crunk. The…

I do a sweet potato pre workout and whey protein shake with real strawberries, Bananas, blueberries and raspberry with a scoop of creatine pre and post workouts. I've tried other whey protein powders and found the body fortress from walmart to be the best. Their creatine is good also.

Squats, lunges, deadlifts!!! Did I mention squats!!

I will count this past Saturday as my day 1. Day 1-50 squats!

I take a PowerCut class twice a week. It is full body weight training. I did it on my own for awhile with apps on my iPad but I wasn't seeing the result I thought I should see. My advice is to look and see if your gym or local YMCA has a all weight training class you could attend.

I have no problem with working out and my hair. I workout pretty darn hard. I wash my hair very often. My hair isn't natural but it is naturally curly but even if it wasn't, hair would never stand in way of my fitness!

Please see your Doctor about your back pain a.s.a.p. The barbell is a whole other beast itself and my only choice for squats. Good luck and take of yourself first!

30lbs is a lot in 2 months time. If you are doing any weight training make sure you aren't doing full body everyday. As far as cardio, it can be done everyday but I would rest at least 2 days out of the week. Your rest days will also be your result days.. The body will need time to heal itself and what happens after the…

Great advice! Always go with a plan. Nothing is more frustrating, than the feeling of not knowing what to do next! If you can get you a workout buddy too.

My breaking point was when my mom started losing weight and started donating her fat jeans to me! Lol I went from being in the gym all the time to someone who I didn't even recognize anymore. Gone for a minute but I'm back now!

You get in there and do what you must! We were all beginners at some point. Soon you will be the fit girl running on the treadmill. Don't allow fear to get in the way of your greatness.

Spin....love it!!!! Burn loads of calories, I hate the seats but you can buy a gel seat cover from Walmart and being apart of a group is great for motivation and support too. Classes at the gym will challenge you physically and mentally, but you can do it! Remember we all were beginners at some point!

I would also like more information too.

Weight lifting.. My favorite at the gym! I take a PowerCut class 2 days per week. A class taught by women and packed full of women! We do everything, deadlifts, squats, lunges, clean and presses, triceps, biceps, back, and chest! All with weights. We are encourage to challenge ourselves and lift heavy, with correct form of…

This is so true...I use to get shin splints bad and I started doing leg exercises to strengthen the muscles in my calves. Now they are a thing of the past.

I want in too! I too use weights when I do squats and lunges! Can't wait to start the challenge, sounds fun.
