Started mid January with an empty bar. I did a little screwing around in the beginning but for the month of February I've definitely been following the program. I know I will be missing 2 days because of a trip I'm taking, unless I luck out and get a workout in somewhere while I'm out of town. I am counting more on eating…

Today I noticed that my weaker arm isn't staying out perpendicular from my torso while I was doing my full weight reps (75lbs) I stalled I may go back to 70 next time to work on form. I stalled out and feel like maybe form was to blame, it's just so hard when you aren't supposed to look at yourself in the mirror.

Here is Mehdi's saying not to do it, but he doesn't give any real solid explanation of why http://stronglifts.com/a-little-5x5-mistake-that-can-retard-your-gains/

My understanding is that you should not lower the weight within the course of a single workout. Here's my example for you, this is what happened to me with my OHPs over the last week. I went up to 65lbs and was able to do something like 3, 3, 4, 5, 3 the first time at 65lbs so the next time I didn't add any weight, the…

I am feeling super lucky right now. After a month I still have not seen ANYONE else use the squat rack while I've been there. I'm not sure of the proper term for the other racks but there is usually at least one of the two free, and the bench generally has one of the two free. I have found pretty low traffic times to…

I experience DOMS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delayed_onset_muscle_soreness) for about 12-24 hours after my workouts, I have been on SL for about a month. I am on a deficit to lose weight which I have heard can contribute to DOMS. It is nowhere near as bad as it was at first but I am generally always sore from my…

Thanks! That gives me some perspective. I was a bit discouraged until I started making this post and realized that my sleep had been pretty ****ty the last two nights so hopefully next time I will at least get back to what I got the first time at 65lbs.

So then with stalls it is not unusual to stall more the second time than the first? Or is it kind of that I probably still wouldn't have completed the 5x5 this time but with better rest I may have performed more closely t last time. The OHPs are really hard, I'm not surprised to be stalling on them at all!
