Interesting question....As a 7th grade teacher for many years I have been known to let a silent deadly one go next to my "favorite" student while quietly walking around the class checking work....I know....I'm sick!!!!:)

When I saw commericials for the show the first season i thought.....what a stupid show....never really knew much about the whole zombie craze....however, I am absolutely hooked now. I cant think of a series I have enjoyed this much in many moons. Sunday nite at 9:00 you can bet the farm where my son and I will be!!!!

I dont have a mental illness but I am in Recovery for other reasons......coming up on my 4 year anniversary next month. Guess we all have our crosses to bear. I wish for you the best.

I've done low carb before....never quite that low.....but it was successful short term....just couldnt seem to stay with it. I'm having better success with counting calories and I think its something I can maintain. However, do what works for you has always been my motto!!!!

I haven't lost enough YET for people to think I'm sick, but I have a picture in my living room from 10 years ago after I had lost about 40 lbs and a good friend calls it my "crack picture". I started riding my bike every morning when school was out for the summer. I'm a teacher and now that schools back in session I havent been able to get motivated to get up early and ride. I'm tired of being fat and I want to feel better. Also want to be able to play a full 18 holes of golf with my son without feeling like I'm about to die!!! I also want to be able to kick his but on the course again!!!:)

Thanks for asking that question. I've been wondering about that also and was amazed at how many carbs I was allowed each day. I've tried low carb diets before and although I lost weight relatively quickly it always came back. Today.....I am doing what you are and the weight is coming off slower but I actually have hope…

I know how you feel but I dont worry to much about the scales. I can FEEL the difference in my clothes, my walking and even how I fit in my car. Keep on keeping on., Thats what I plan to do!!!!

My son bought me a bicycle for my birthday and I am riding almost every day. I usually ride about 20 miles a week so far. I am also using portion control and have lost 10 pounds in 6 weeks. I find riding better than walking as I have back issues and its lower impact.

I am new here and this is my first post. I have been teaching for 31 years. The last five years I have been a Hospital Homebound teacher and have gained 50 lbs!!!!!!
