@Karlottap Thanks so much for the advice - I know my clothes are fitting better - but oh so frustrating. But good to know - I keep saying I'm not quitting! But it sure is tough to be doing the work and the scale not budging. I guess I need to measure myself too... Thanks again for healing pauses!

I am on my second month of Keto - and in January I lost nearly 13 lbs a record for me. However, in my second month I am at a standstill. I have cut out sugar, flour, potatoes, and am low carb - Not sure what's going on - but I've not cheated - even through Valentine's day. So, it's a disappointing turn of events. I keep…

Thanks for the info.

I LOVED out of Africa - but it WAS the cinematography ---saw it at the theater - large screen....Wow --- just beautiful...especially the airplane scene flying over the shore....awesome!

I'm here....been stuck....but my clothes are looser....I've lost about 15 lbs since returning in January. Discouraged by that....but my body is changing so that is good. Trying to keep exercise at the forefront!...But still in the group and reading/responding to posts. So count me in....I'm here for the long haul....... :)

I don't have 'cheat' days. There was a breakfast at my Church and I had a couple of items I wouldn't normally have, but I am staying within my calorie goals....Because otherwise I'm really only 'cheating' myself of good health...It's all in the balance....a piece of chocolate or a cookie didn't make me gain this weight, it…

I started to turn my life around by making small changes that I could live with for the rest of my life. Examples: Changed from soda to diet soda, then to water... Regular chips to baked chips, now....I only baked chips once in a while or pass on them all together. Slowly I stopped buying foods in a 'box' and switched to…

Hi...Welcome! I'm a former WW, from the beginning of time! LOL I learned how to eat correctly with them and maintained a 50 lb weight loss for several years...however I got comfortable after losing 50 and have bounced a bit....then due to the recent loss of a family member, I managed to gain about 20 lbs back. I've about…

I've been working on 'cleaner' eating for the last 1 1/2. It's hard and it's definetly a journey to better health...but I'm getting there....Good for you for working at it too!!! All the best! :flowerforyou:

Amazing!!! How fun - shorts!!!! You rock and have done a great job... thanks for sharing your journey to better health!!!

Be sure to take your measurements.... I would venture to guess with that much Zumba you ARE losing inches. I do Zumba too and noticed that my clothes were looser.... my scale didn't reflect a change...but I loved that my clothes were getting bigger on me. The hard work you are doing WILL payoff. Don't give up - but…

A similar recipe can be found at: http://www.eat-drink-smile.com/2011/04/cauliflower-crust-pizza.html I found it on pinterest and followed the path back to the website Cauliflower Crust Pizza Serves 2; Adapted from Your Lighter Side. Ingredients: 1 cup cooked, riced cauliflower 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 1 egg,…

I'm in...my jeans...I want to be back in my jeans... they are not very comfortable...I can get in them....but breathing is another matter!!! LOL.

NSV are important! When I lost my 50 lbs, I lived by the scale only. But often when exercising heavily, the scale will reflect a gain for various reasons (adding muscle, fluid, etc) measurements are VERY important. Because when the scale doesn't reflect a lose for a while, measurements may be smaller. So yes count!!…

I love my wii...but I've neglected it a bit. I did just get Wii Zumba...for Christmas. I've done it - need to do more. But I've played tennis and have loved it. Thanks for posting, I'll get into it again. Thx.

Add me to your friends list if you'd like - I have a lot to lose too :)

Saw your zumba logo!! Love Zumba, was doing it consistently from Oct 2011 - June 2012 when my dad died suddenly...I gained back 20 over the last 6 months during the whole grieving process. Getting back to exercise and to Zumba!

Hi all - I'm 56 and live near Gainesville, Florida. I've struggled with weight all my life. I have done WW countless times and at my lowest (as an adult) was about 199 on my wedding day (over 33 years ago-I'm still married to the same wonderful husband). When I got pregnant with my only daughter (age 30) I weighed 220. I…

I committed to 90, but being perfectly honest, I really need to lose 100+. In any case, I signed up with this site last year and got nervous and left without trying. Now with a new phone, hoping it's easier to keep up with the journaling. Any way... want to join the forum! :ohwell:

So impressed with your success! It is an inspiration to me. I have about 100 lbs to lose and at my age, feel it's almost impossible. But I do want to use these boards as a source of motivation... you have done that already! Thanks
