I'm in.

I don't eat. I get up at 5am and drink 8 ounces of pre-workout drink to boost energy and then have 24 ounces bottle that I sip on during my 30-40 minute workout at home. After that I shower and by then my gradeschoolers are awake. I make breakfast for all of us, of which mine is typically two eggs and a cup worth of…

Thank again for listening to my rant. Update is that she is taking the bottle! Just needed the main teacher back to keep the others in line I guess. First bottle they tried she took after a little bit of coaxing. It has a medium flow nipple so I am going to go get medium flow nipples for her bottles and see if that will…

*Nods Head* I completely relate to everything that you said. Beside the squishy tummy and wider hips that won't fit into the pre-pregnancy clothes yet, I am breastfeeding my little one. So my boobs are twice the size that they normally are. In the process of trying to figure out a wardrobe that I feel okay in and that I…

My first labor started early afternoon and we had my husband's military ball. I ate the supper and then we went to the after party at the bowling alley. I had a bag of Cheetos at midnight before we headed home. Ended up at the hospital at 3 am and threw that up. I have not been able to look at Cheetos the same. Baby #1…

I'm good with individual goals. I'd love the accountability. My goal right now would be to do the arms routine from a step class I loved because it was the first time in my life I had toned arms and I'll take anything right now. Doesn't take much time and I'd love a little more muscle. My goal is 3 times a week, so…

My thought had been something like the 30 day shred, but if that was irritating you then it would not work the best. Do we each want to set an individual goal and hold each other accountable? Or do we want to try to find some exercises to do with the baby? I am down for anything really.
-
I am in and could definitely use the accountability. My goal is 20 minutes per day and so far have not accomplished any. So I know what I will be doing tonight!

Me, Me, Me *Waving hand wildly* I have been so down in the dumps and I know a lot of it is just feeling so out of control in regards to my diet and exercise. But then having no motivation to fix it. So what is the plan? Just help hold each other accountable?

My go-to outfits this pregnancy were dresses made from stretchy material. I usually made sure that they were either a wrap style or had a V-neck that way I could use them breastfeeding (saves you from having to purchase nursing clothes after the pregnancy). I also would wear tunics and put on a belt for added dimension.…

I agree with both of these ladies. Walking is the only exercise that I have been doing as well. My little lady still is very fussy in the evenings and being outside is the only thing that calms her. So I either load her up in the stroller or if she is really fussy wear her in a baby wrap and we walk. Saves both of our…

My little girl is the same way. Her doctor recommended trying either Little Remedies Gripe Water or Colic Calm. I found the Gripe Water at Walmart and it has made a world of difference for us. Maybe check with your doctor if it is something you can try. I don't know if you breastfeed or noy , but it could also be your…

How many layers should I be looking for in the fitted diapers? Is the absorbency usually with the diaper or are there snap in/lay in inserts?

Those with experience what do you recommend for overnights. My little gal is 7 weeks and starts the night with a 5 to 6 hour stretchof sleeping. So by the ttime she wakes she has soaked through the diaper and her sleeper. During the day I use prefolds and a cover. Nighttime I have been doing a few different things but…

Yay, spunkychelsea!!! I am so excited for you and glad to hear it is going great!!

I have had the same thoughts and if you make a group let me know. I have not been on the forums much as the only internet at home is on my phone. And it's a pain to navigate around on that. I need to get on during a nap because I wanted to update about cloth diapers after using them for a few weeks. Plus it is nice to talk…

Thinking of you moms who are still waiting for their bundle of joy to arrive. Hope all goes well with labor and can't wait to see the update you had them.

Had our little girl Monday (4-28) morning at 1:51am. Lena weighed 7.2 lbs and is doing well. She is a strong nurser and breastfeeding is going good so far. I am feeling okay. I forgot about the cramping when she nurses and need to get better and taking ibuprophen or Tylenol on a schedule before I need it. Rather then at…

When I had mine doctor swabbed the vagina first and then the outer edge of the *kitten*. She did not insert the swab for the *kitten* portion, but did the vaginally one. I am so sorry to hear about your experience. Hope they respect your wishes about this doctor.

My doctor did not prescribe, but I am not a milk drinker so knew I would not be getting near what I needed for calcium intake. I started taking a calcium chew twice a day and the doctor was fine with that.

I opted not to have my cervical length checked. It was something that was discussed with my new midwife at my first appointment. With my previous two births 8 and 5 years ago, it was not a standard procedure I am assuming. I had a surgery on my cervix 13 years ago and the midwife told me that standard now would be to do an…

Had another chiropractic appointment and midwife appointment yesterday. The midwife did a quick scan and baby is back to being head down. She is not as low in my pelvis as she had been, so hoping she drops some more and does not do any more turns. 38 weeks along and excited for the end to be so near!

@spunkychelsea - First labor was long at just under 24 hours. We were in the hospital for 10 hours of it. The second labor I was at home for about 2 hours and then hospital for another 2. The part that goes fast is that when my water breaks it does not matter where I have been dilated. It goes complete and I have the urge…

Contractions started back up Monday morning at 10am at about 20 minutes apart and lasting 25-30 seconds. They progressively got closer so I called the midwife at 3pm as they were 8 minutes apart but still the 25-30 seconds. They were not too uncomfortable yet, but I did pass my mucus plug and my back was aching something…

Congrats! What a beautiful little lady!

37 weeks today and I was so certain that I was starting labor yesterday afternoon. We had a weekend getaway with our sons before the baby came. All day Saturday, we were outside at three different parks. This mama was up and moving or walking for 6 hours straight which is not normally something I do. Then we spent the…

My husband will be getting a vasectomy after this baby, but I will also be getting a Mirena IUD put in as well again. We have been told that it can take up to 3 years for a vasectomy to become 'effective' and both of our sons were conceived while I was on birth control pills. The IUD was the only birth control that was…

36 weeks along as of yesterday. Tomorrow I have a doctor appointment and have the Group Strep B testing. Not looking forward to it :oP But super excited to be in the final countdown. Have been having lots of Braxton Hick contractions all during the day but they always die out at night. Which is good. Lena needs to bake at…
