Everything I have read says 1299 is the absolute minimum if you are 5 foot 7, I am pretty sure you need more.

Look for boil in bag entrees at your local supermarket. Also most supermarkets have packages of pre grilled chicken and already mixed salads with dressing on the side. Some even have salad bars. Get mostly fruits and veggies. If refrigeration is a problem canned fruits packed in juice or water are a good option. Just buy…

Fit it in as a normal party of your day. Walk to class instead of the bus, use the stairs in stead of an elevator, if you drive park as far away as possible. Watching tv? do squats during commercials. Get workout buddies to walk/cycle, swim/run with you.

5'1 here, 30 more pounds to go. I gotta think that when you are a smaller person you should be less hungry at the end of the day, but I do admit it's a challenge a lot of days to stay within my 1200 calorie limit.

Keep raw almonds or cashews nearby. They are good for you, provide healthy fats and are fairly high in calories. Just measure them out for 100 calories or so at a time.

I eat egg beaters instead of eggs. Really like the southwestern flavor.

trader joe's sells a great low calorie queso, you could steam them and add that. Or try raw with low cal dip

A preacher friend said it's because I hate the me I see in you. It's fear that they could end up the same.

It's what I am currently on. Not eating back my exercise calories except on special occasions

Jillian Michaels was on Dr. Oz and she recommended 1200 for women and 1600 for men.

We live out in the country so no trick or treaters here. But when we did hand out treats I tried to buy stuff I didn't care for like Mary Janes or Bit O Honey.

I limit myself to two large cups and that's it. Otherwise I get too jittery. Also I use creamer and don't want to spend my calories on that.

Do what you have to do for you! No one can run another person's race.

I totally disagree with this, I would say it is YOUR right to put in your body the fuel you deserve. I focus on the people and not the food. Try saying that isn't on my food plan right now. If you can, arm yourself with something that LOOKS like a drink, water w lime in it or something. Fill your plate but fill it with…

I go to the gym at the community college, walk outside, just wear regular t-shirts instead of expensive workout gear. I do spend good chunk of money on my workout shoes to get the right fit but don't buy many dress type shoes so it balances out. As far as food goes if you are not buying a lot of cookies and jink you have…

Reward yourself in non-food ways and set small goals of 5 to 10 or even 1 or two pounds. Good to have non weight goals too like giving up diet soda or processed foods. Do this a day at a time and make it into a new hobby - you can do this. I followed this and have lost 75 pounds since April of 2011, I still have a way to…

So I could enjoy our trip to Europe last fall but kept going once we got home.

I am a baby boomer on the older end of the scale - been on my weight loss journey since April of 2011, lost 75 lbs as of today, first with Weight Watchers and joined here about two months ago. Feel free to friend request me.

I got mine done at the gym at my local comm college. Look up Body Gem - that is the device they used. It cost me $39 to get it done.

I LOVE swings! Good for you!
