Diagnostic criteria for BINGE EATING DISORDER (sometimes referred to as "compulsive overeating") A. Recurrent episodes of binge eating. An episode of binge eating is characterized by both of the following: (1) eating, in a discrete period of time (e.g., within any 2-hour period), an amount of food that is definitely larger…

I bet it was a bad movie.

My sister does it and she has a juice every day for lunch along with a few almonds. For her it really works for her lifestyle. I know she does find it a bit expensive but it's still cheaper then eating out. She is not doing a juice fast however and makes sure to eat plenty of whole foods. She says it helps her feel lighter…

In all seriousness, yes that's gross, but people eat bugs all the time, on purpose.

I like cheese but that makes me want to puke.

You can make an argument that anything is addictive. BUT I would like to see dopamine and serotonin levels before and after consumption of cheese. I highly doubt there would be enough of an increase to actually cause an addiction.

You didn't go over your cals, then no worries. "Dieting" is the wrong way to look at this. You just have to learn to eat properly. And you did!

I don't understand. If these people are unconventionally attractive, who is conventionally attractive? I say this because I would say about 90% of people mentioned I would consider conventionally attractive.

First, the reason people are saying you should eat it is that they are trying to help you understand that you can have sweets, WITHOUT feeling guilty whenever you want. It should just fit into your macros and calories. Looking at foods as bad, or having guilt is disordered eating and that is not healthy, which is why you…

Try "Hi, how are you? My name is ___" And then just wait for a response, any interested party will strike up a conversation. And then offer to buy her a drink. Don't make it a big deal.

Looking at your journal - it looks like you're doing well. If all of your measurements are accurate, you should start seeing some progress soon. Sometimes it takes a while. But in the meantime I would suggest weighing your food as apposed to measuring. You may be calculating your calories inaccurately. Edit to add: You are…

Just buy milk that has no added hormones (specifically rBGH) and no antibiotics. Generally organic milk falls into this category. However, KEMP's has a line called "simply" (I think) and they have no rBGH. But do your research and make your own decision. Just make sure when you read research papers that you look at who…

That's not actually true. New scientific evidence, specifically in evolutionary and biological psychology show that we as humans are designed to eat as much as possible when food is available. So technically if food is available all day long, then we are designed to eat it and eat as much of it as possible. The prevalence…

Yup^^^ - don't bother. It will just mess with your mind.

It doesn't really matter. You could use your highest weight and just "check in" with your current, then it will have logged your loss and you will see it on your ticker. Just update your goals after you do that so you have accurate cals.

Are you using a food scale? Are you counting absolutely everything you are eating? You may be underestimating your calories. Just a thought. You are not gaining muscle. You may be retaining water - but that's a long time for that to happen. So I would go to the food. You're working out and that seems fine. Invest in a food…

Yup, it's bad. I go tanning and take vitamin D supplements. I know what people think of tanning but I'd rather risk skin cancer then want to throw myself off a bridge.

Lots of green veggies, I usually use spinach instead of lettuce (better nutritional value and I think it has more flavor). I love green onions, cucumber, some tomatoes, and then I try and add some kind of protein like lunch meat and maybe a little cheese. Beyond that, walnuts are tasty as well as I like craisins on mine…

Keep counting and it will come off! Make sure to measure and weigh your food to be as exact as possible. Any kind of exercise will help, even if you do seated exercise or walking like you said. As for energy personally I have a really hard time this time of year due to low vitamin D levels, so that is something you could…

Honestly - sometimes I just give in (had that yesterday). But I always log everything I want to eat first so I can see what I'm thinking about doing and then make a decision. Usually I'll then just pick one or 2 things in more moderate amounts to satiate the cravings. Truth be told I still order pizza and eat that too. I…
