What about fish? I usually eat fish when I eat out. If you get it grilled or broiled with lemon- its a healthy choice.

I have always purchased Proform exercise equipment. As a matter of fact I have a Proform Eliptical machine that I need to sell. Its brand new and only used a few times. I need to make room in my house. Do you live in NJ? I will sell it to you for a good price.

I eat a low carb diet but I allow myself the same amount of calories as someone following any other kind of diet on this site.

I gave up bread, pasta, and rice. 3 things I thought I could never give up! I'm so proud of myself. And I feel so much better. My next big step is to drink only water and green tea. I like to challenge myself a little at a time until a good habit becomes permenant.

I would like to start using free weights. I bought a bench for my sons and they never use it. I was thinking I could use it. But I am not sure of what size weights I should start with. I have never used weights before and I don't want to hurt myself. Anyone have any suggestions on how I should start off?

I think it really depends on how much bread you have been eating and what else you have been eating. Thanks everyone! I never heard of TDEE before. I've hit plateau's in the past and never knew how to get past them. Now I have a much better idea of what to do when I hit a plataeu again. You guys are the best!!! I learn so much from this site.

I do the same thing. When I am depressed I eat. its a bad habit I formed many years ago. I find talking to a friend and or going out and doing something fun helps a lot. Keep busy. I would suggest staying away from the noodles, rice and fried foods. Stick to veggies, fish, and chicken without too much sauce. Eat slowly. Stay away from desserts- eat fruit instead.
