Thanks! My last curveball was last year while my mom was hospitalized for a month an hour away. I pretty much lived on hospital food and got no exercise that whole month. And once she came home I was so busy taking care of her that I neglected myself. I sure hope I won't face another situation like that anytime soon, so I…

That's how I've gone about it in the past- no restrictions as long as it fit my calories. Tried to get macros within an OK range. My only regular exercise is walking the dog, which is a relatively new thing for me as I only got her a few months ago. I know for sure that I really dislike running and will never stick with it…

I started SL on 8/24 and haven't added any other exercises. Monday - Squat 5x5x70 OHP 5*5*50 DL 1*5*115 Wednesday Squat 5*5*75 Bench 5*5*60 Row 5*5*75 The OHP and Row seem to really be kicking my butt! I'm no longer unable to walk after squats though, so that's a good thing! I'm not too sure about warmups though, is there…

I'm brand spanking new! I'm trying to figure out how to squat correctly before I move on to the other lifts. I just tried a 45 pound bar for the first time last night. So I'm right there with you! I posted in the form check thread but no responses yet.

Any advice here? I'm brand new to squatting and would love any feedback! <embed width="600" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullscreen="true" allowNetworking="all" wmode="transparent" src="http://static.photobucket.com/player.swf"…

Just wanted to say good luck! I started 30DS right as I was ending C25K. It kills me to run 30 minutes and do 30DS on the same days now.

Thick. I like big bubbles in my crust, too much sweet sauce, and ooey gooey cheese. You want good pizza? Come to Buffalo!

Just like it would be bad advice for me to refer somebody from creditboards to MFP if they posted a fitness thread?
-
Quit taking advice from here and head over to creditboards.com for advice from people that 100% know what they're talking about. I go there for my credit advice, and here for my fitness advice. I wouldn't take weight loss tips from anybody on creditboards just the same as I wouldn't take credit advice from anybody on MFP.

I wash it every other day. The days I don't, I wear a hat and hope nobody picks up on the pattern.

Being somebody I know I could never marry- that's my deal breaker. I'm at a point where I don't want to waste time and effort on a relationship if it's not going to be for the long haul. Now there are several things that could cause me to realize they're not marriage material... and I'm sure it's a really long list.

I'm not sure how I did it. I just decided one day in October to quit and didn't look back. I must say, my wallet and my waistline are happier for it. I think it had more to do with being ready than anything else. If I had tried to quit at any other time it may not have worked.

:flowerforyou: That's awesome! Amazing results.

I'm 5'3", so my healthy range according to BMI is 107-140. Here is me at a "healthy" BMI of 24.1 (136 pounds). I don't feel too skinny here.

Don't worry about it really. It's a very short term deal. I ate jello, pudding, soups, etc. I also wasn't on MFP at the time. One week or so won't make or break you.

Vital? No. Helpful? Yes. Especially if you don't know what 1 serving of each food looks like. One serving of cereal is less than a cup. Do you have measuring cups in your kitchen- yeah, less than one of those. Turns out one serving of cereal does not mean fill the bowl to the top :(

Unless you want to live the rest of your life on Slimfast, I'm not sure it's a good idea for you to lose weight and keep it off long term. Long term results come from changing your lifestyle.

Love these pics! I think they're the only reason I don't yell at Jillian and turn off the DVD. You're my inspiration to keep going no matter how bad it hurts!

24 5'3" SW: 153 CW: 136 GW: 120s Sounds pretty close to me! I just graduated C25K, although I can't quite run the full 3.1 yet. I'm doing 30DS as well.

When you did that extra workout just to eat some ice cream at the end of the night, and divide the number of calories you have left by the number of calories per serving so you know exactly how many grams you can eat!

I'm 24. It would have to be very convincing for me to date younger. I went as old as 34... that lasted a month, and seemed off. I wouldn't go that old again. I hope I won't have to though... I have an awesome man right now! (He's 25)

We've both had unhealthy relationships in the past. While we haven't talked about all aspects of previous relationships, there has been a fair amount of talk about the past. It's helped us to understand how we act now. Snooping though? No. I go in the medicine cabinet for my toothbrush and maybe digging for bandaids, but…

Dude. Don't talk about Timmy's that way.

Tim Hortons donuts are so much harder to turn down than any other kind... I feel your pain!

You can have your diary view-able only by passcode, that way only you and your husband can share with each other

To look at this a different way- let's say you want to cook up some marinated chicken. Go into the recipe builder and enter the weight of your raw chicken. Enter your marinade. Cook and weigh your chicken again, now enter the total oz or g as the number of servings in the recipe. Then to add to your diary, enter the number…

Invest in a scale. Any digital scale that has a zero/tare function and can switch between oz and g will do. No need to spend a ton of money.

It depends. Always check when possible. For example I went to enter my Chobani greek yogurt- 120 calories for whatever flavor it was, the calorie count matched so I picked it. I noticed later in the day it had 0g of protein! Yeah, that's not right... I went back to the container and found one in the database that matched…
