Thanks. That is really good info!

Good for you! It is a ll about choices and you definitely made the right one!

Actually, a lot of people ask about this. It takes your body a while to adjust. Make sure you drink a lot of water and if things don't even out in 2 or 3 weeks, you should probably see your doctor. For now, no worries.

I usually weigh morning and night, but only record Friday morning weigh-ins. A lot of MFPers only weigh once a week or even once a month. It's really up to you and whatever works for you!

Consider changing your weigh-in day to Friday. It works a lot better for me! Weekends usually mean eating out or snacking too much which means high sodium and water weight.

You should always eat at least 1200 calories. And you should eat a good percentage of your exercise calories or all of them if you're hungry. Use search on the forum to get more info.

I'm guessing it added to your original post. Exercise only posts once a day, but it will all add on!

I think you really only need a day off if your muscles are sore. I never take a day off unless life intervenes - just make sure to do different things, which I know you do!

Are you drinking enough water? Water retention would be my first thought - the more water you drink, the more weight you lose. Don't give up. The weight loss will happen!!!

An HRM is worth the money. I love my Polar f4t - around $100 is a sporting goods store, cheaper online.

I am a wife and a mother of 3 + I had a day care so I claim another 125 (or so) kids. I am a Democrat, a liberal thinker. I love to read. I love animals. I love decorating homes. And I love MFP!

Make a smoothie - milk or juice, yogurt (plain or flavored), some fruit (frozen or fresh) and add a tbs or two of flax seed meal. Personally, I don't like the flavor of protein shakes, but I know a lot of people do. I usually use fresh or frozen bananas and frozen blueberries or strawberries. You can google smoothies.com…

I usually earn between 300 and 400 exercise calories a day. I leave about 150 calories untouched. That way if I've forgotten to log something or am not sure if all the foods are logged exactly right, I'm still under. Just make sure you don't go under 1200 calories a day - that IS starvation mode. And it's not a myth, it's…

When I bought mine, I was told it has to be sent in to make sure it's sealed properly in case you want to use it when you swim. The ft7 has a diary that keeps track of your exercises for a week at a time. I have the ft4 and love it. I'll probably send it in for a new battery - it should take less than a week to get it back.

Maybe stressed? Maybe bored? Try taking a walk or just getting out of the house. I'm the same way, especially during bad weather...

Tropical Paradise Smoothie - Pineapple, Mango, Banana, Apricot Mango Yogurt + some milk or Mango Peach Juice. Even better, add about 2 TBS coconut!!! (You can add strawberries too.) Love Mangoes! Oh, and Mangoes are really hard to cut up - Google it!!!

You really need an HRM with a chest strap. One of my friends had one of the wrist ones and it was off up to 300 calories in one work out. Sorry, but that's the way it is!

Try to eat breakfast everyday. Maybe a yogurt and a piece of fruit. Make a fruit smoothie if you have time, but get in the habit of starting your day right!

Clementines - better than candy!

I ran an in-home daycare for over 20 years. If you have a passion for working with children, keep doing it! It is much, much easier after your own children are older or at least in school. I quit three years ago and now at the age of 59, I'm starting again! I miss having kids around and feel like I am providing a very…

I'm going to work on arm exercise. I really want to wear tank tops this summer (and look good :-)).

Polar ft4. I got mine at Scheele's Sporting Goods. I'm sure you can get them cheaper online, but since I really didn't know anything about them, I needed advice. At first I hated it! The chest strap is sort of a hassle and it showed I was burning a lot less calories than I thought, but my losses have been up. And I'm…

It's up to you if you want to change. I just changed my settings yesterday. I did lose calories but I also had the choice of slowing my weigh loss and gaining calories! For now, I decided to go with 100 less calories, but if that doesn't feel right in a few days, I'll go the other way.

Ideal size - 10. Was size 16 and now I can wear 14s or some 12s. I've lost 22 lbs and would like to lose another 16.

You can still enjoy a beer or a piece of cheesecake (probably share the cheesecake with someone to halve the calories! ;-)). You just can't drink a couple of beers every night or eat cheesecake every week. I'm still about 15 pounds from my goal. Wednesdays I don't track calories or exercise, but try to just stay on track.…

ft7 has a diary that records and keeps your workouts. since I record daily on MFP, I bought the ft4 and love it!

I have the 2 mile tape and the 3 mile tape. I like them a lot - really gets my heart rate up and since I lack coordination, they're really good! :-)
