I love sushi as well, but it is a scary thing for me as there can be so many hidden things that are not good in there. I have to just have veggie or tuna rolls with zero sauce. Even california rolls can be packed with fat and calories.

I agree with tracking food 100%, even if you go over. I hit a plateau and once I started really putting in everything I put in my mouth, things changed quickly.

It is not silly, you just need to be honest about what you are putting into your body. Even if you are +1000 calories every day, it is a start and a good motivator.

I think when heavy people first start, their body does some adjusting and the losses can come fast. In my personal opinion, if you are eating 2100 healthy calories a day, it does not matter how fast you lose.

I have found the first thing that happens when I am heading towards losing motivation is me stopping the logging of everything. If I log absolutely everything, even if it is bad, I stay motivated.
