I weigh in once a week no matter what, it keeps me accountable. If I am feeling extra light mid week I may weigh and track it to keep myself motivated. The more I lose the more I want to do good.

I absolutely hate taking pics, when I look in the mirror I like what I see, but then someone snaps a pic and I am like really how can I look so bad and not know it. Hopefully this will change as I start to loose more.

I'm 5'7" and 181.6, I think I wear a size 13 in jeans but refuse to buy anything over a size 11. I buy alot of elastic waist band stuff which I know is completely wrong, size L for the bottoms and XL for the tops. My goal is to be back in size 9 jeans that have room to breath, and a large in the top would be great too.

I think if I was on maintenance for lets say 3 months with no gain, maybe I would try to log my calories every other day and see how that works. There is a limit on beverages? I mean I know your not suppose to drink my calories, which I love to do but I havent seen the spot for beverage limits. Please advise.

Ok so I just figured out where to go to see my responses, LOL. My total calorie goal is 1570, I ended up walking for a half hour and was able to eat a light dinner.

I used to take Metabolift with ephedra, and I LOVED IT! After it was taken off the market I spent hours and hours searching for alternatives, which I never found. I'm too scared to try the prescription stuff, I think I would get addicted. Good luck and be careful!

Yesterday I was able to avoid eating out and ate all day long. I still had over 100 calories left at the end of the day due to exercise calories. I woke up feeling so guilty today. This is my 2nd week and I am not fully trusting the process yet. I guess I will find out when I way on Friday.

Do you like grapefruit? I have found that it stabalizes my bloodsugar and helps with the cravings. Try it next time you want to crab the cookies :)

I did the slow carb diet which allowed you one day a week to cheat. I personally found it hard to get back on track, and found myself craving things that I normally do not crave. I think low carb success depends on one's individual makeup. I have tried it and found that I lose double the weight in a week with the same amount of calories if I focus on cutting the carbs. I also feel completely bloat free and energized. Only down fall, I love bread so I usually cant maintain the low carb lifestyle.
