I am concerned about the amount of sodium I’m consuming as well. It’s especially present in many meats. It’s a work in process to find the right balance.

I had one too. Mine had to be reopened and I have an ugly scar. Sometime sit kind of aches. There is defintely a pouch. I am working on my abdominal muscles to imporve strength. Sometimes if I laugh the worng way my abdominal muscles get a charley horse.

I hear you. I'm having the same issue. I know I am doing better than I had been in the past and I MFP tells me I will lsoe such and such in 5 weeks, but I rarely manage to stay within my 1750. TV dinners work well at school, but when I am home during the day and hungry...

Two things: Allow for it in your plan and try portion controled ice cream. I love fudgecicles and chocolate covered icecream on a stick. Cold and yummy but not crazy.

MFP had me at 2100 or something like that. I have been working downward toward 1500. I'm on my seocnd week of 1750. I want to avoid the starvation reponse from my body.

I can relate. I suffered with Bulimarexia from early teens through my late 20's. I gained a lot of weight after my starving stopped. Thanks for posting! I have been using MFP for a month now. First I used the suggested claories for a week, then figured out to customize. I did 2000 calories for a week. Now I am at 1750. I'm going to do do 1750 for two weeks then move down to 1500. I was wondering how I would come up with meals in the 300 calorie range.…
