Agree! And I want one. Anyone who's eating this obviously knows it's not healthy. As long as an establishment isn't withholding nutrition info, I don't see the problem. (And even then, we have a choice not to go there.) Food doesn't need to come with warning labels unless it's something that will make you sick on its own…

Because semis kick up gravel and debris, and I don't want that hitting my windshield. (Although you probably still won't catch me going 15 mph where the speed limit is anywhere above 25.)

I like salt and pepper popcorn, and I've been looking to try lime and salt soon! I like Orville Redenbacher's natural microwave popcorn (http://www.orville.com/natural-popcorn-snack), but you could probably try it with air-popped popcorn if you have the equipment. :)

Haha I'm from California, so the most authentic BBQ I'll probably find here is Korean. Delicious!

If you speak with a doctor/nutritionist about it and they say it's okay, then go with it. Otherwise, it is probably best to go with MFP's recommendation for you. Another rule of thumb is: if you wouldn't feel comfortable and healthy with only 1000 net calories every day, then you should be eating more. Listen to your body…

Interesting topic. I think the issue of boredom-eating doesn't effect me as much as it does others. I tend to do the opposite-- I eat when I am stressed out and procrastinating. When I'm overwhelmed. Generally I try to preempt that by keeping junk food out of my place for the most part. But it's also when I'm stressed that…

So you have now clarified that your concern is not with her behavior, but with her looks. High-heeled shoes with a modest dress (or with jeans) will not instantly make her look like less of a young lady. She will be graduating before you know it anyway, and if she's not trusted to make even the smallest of decisions, she…

What I do is have 1-2 glasses of water about 15 minutes before I eat, which keeps me from eating more out of thirst. Once my plate is clean I have another glass of water and wait 10-15 minutes. If I'm still hungry, I have seconds. I also eat with chopsticks a lot of the time. Supposedly they make you eat slower. I don't…

By the time I was sixteen, I was allowed to wear heels as high as i wanted, short skirts, tops with cleavage, short shorts, etc., etc. And you know what? I knew what was appropriate for certain situations and what wasn't. Short shorts and skirts are for the beach, high heels go with more modest clothing. But the main thing…

Lol, that's fantastic. <3

For students, I think summer break makes a difference. I usually find it's easier to lose weight when I don't have as many things to worry about. For one, I have more time to focus on my eating habits. For two (this is the big one for me), less stress means less emotional eating. Too bad for me, since I'm taking two…

^ This! I'm aiming to lose 20 pounds, and unfortunately it's going to have to come off in small increments. My weight loss goal is 3 pounds every month for seven months. Until then, I'm trying to focus on changing my eating habits permanently.

Stuffing my face, starving myself, then stuffing my face again. Vicious cycle. Emotional eating.

I have struggled with social anxiety and major depression since I was 12, and was diagnosed when I was 13-14. It's still frustrating to be numb for no reason, or scared to spend time with friends who clearly care about me. I've learned a lot of coping skills, some unhealthy, including emotional eating. And that is why I'm…

I binge usually as stress relief after a big event of some kind (even if the event was positive.) Final exams, family get-togethers, parties, the first day of the semester, a big argument, etc. I sometimes find myself eating food I don't even like just to numb the emotions. It's usually easier to avoid eating too much if I…

I've lost a human brain (haha, in more ways than one!), and I'm looking to lose a CAR TIRE!! Blergh.

^^^^ 1000x THIS! I really don't even like taking pictures to begin with. Don't even have pictures uploaded to facebook, come to think of it.

I totally understand your frustration. My sweet tooth is enormous, so it is really hard for me to eat just one serving of any dessert. If you feel that it's something you simply cannot eat, give the cake away! Send people home with slices of it, pack half-servings of it up in your kids' lunches as little desserts, take it…

Hey :) I'm 5'10" and about 149 pounds. My goal is to lose 20 pounds by my 20th birthday (January 23rd), so I'll be aiming for a weight loss of about 3 pounds per month. (Slow, I know, but I want to keep it off.) Please do add me for support, motivation, or just if you want to vent sometimes!

Dip veggies in hummus! It's easy, delicious (there are different variations on it, too), and a really filling way to get your veggies in at lunch time or even for a snack. :)

For me it's important to enjoy food! I make room in my calorie count for a little comfort food every single day, and I am giving myself one flex day a week to NOT count calories. It's not that that's a binge day or a "cheat" day. It's just to give my brain a break from counting calories so I can enjoy eating meals with my…

I know that mfp gives you a default of a 500 calorie deficit, I was just being stubborn about 1200 calories a day. But yeah, my health really isn't worth it and if I'm not eating enough my metabolism will go into starvation mode anyway. I'll bump up my calorie intake to 1400/day and try to fit more calcium and protein in…

Wow, I didn't expect so many quick responses. Thanks! I haven't been recording my diet on mfp (it's just easier to use a small notebook that I can carry around than it is to use my laptop all the time.) But I can break down what I've been eating here: Day 1: Slept through breakfast Lunch- 2 cups watermelon, 2/3…
