I suppose you could say it works for weight loss in that, after chugging a shot of the stuff, you won't feel like eating anything for at least an hour....

i "hit bottom" six to seven years ago. its managed, some days. still struggling, especially now. i am most "in recovery" when i am training for a swim and motivated to eat for the completion of upcoming events, and when I remember the terrible impact my behavior had on people who cared, and how i almost didnt make it.…

not that I know of- I've heard that its actually quite good for you to run barefoot. this may be a tangent, but i recommend the book Born To Run if youre interested. it talks about the barefoot running debate and the tarahumara, a native tribe of "super runners" that never wore shoes.

I usually swim three or four times a week for an hour and a half at a time; laps in the pool twice a week before weightlifting, (usually its 40 minutes freestyle, 10 minutes butterfly, 30 minutes freestyle, then 10 minutes sprints) and the other days I do about two miles of ocean swimming. once a month I up one of the…

thank you everyone the decomposition of proteins to amino acids is interesting. does that mean that you would need to get more grams of protein if you are only consuming combined incomplete proteins? or quantitatively do whole and combined incomplete still add up to the same number in terms of grams, assuming the combined…
