i "hit bottom" six to seven years ago.
its managed, some days. still struggling, especially now.
i am most "in recovery" when i am training for a swim and motivated to eat for the completion of upcoming events, and when I remember the terrible impact my behavior had on people who cared, and how i almost didnt make it. recovery is really a life long process. one day at a time1
