These are the NSV I really like to see :) Good job!

I'm looking forward to losing weight and hopefully having hips, or at least a visible difference between waist and hips. Before kid I had no shape if you looked at me from straight on. Well, except for the clothes I've been saving probably not fitting right anymore.

Feel free to add me. Open diary. I do eat junk food, sometimes more than I should, but I still try to stay near or just under my daily calorie goal. I don't log exercise since I'm doing the In-Place-of-a-Roadmap, so my calorie goals are around 1640 a day. 1 kid, but he's 5 :) work full time.

Dracula! "I find that the moment I let a woman make friends with me, she becomes jealous, exacting, suspicious, and a damned nuisance. I find that the moment I let myself make friends with a woman, I become selfish and tyrannical." Edit: (Pygmalion)

Chocolate covered almonds, little debbie swiss cake rolls or nutty bars, and anything else with the combo of peanutbutter and chocolate. (And yes! Ice cream servings should be bigger than 1/2 cup! I've been using dessert glasses (can almost always find them at goodwill or rummage sales) to eat ice cream in instead of a…

I draw (pencil, india ink), write very poorly, and make jewelry (stone and sterling silver).

^Mwahahahaha. I think the same thing of my husband every time I come onto these forums. I really found a total gem of a man, and thank my MIL for raising him right. My husband thinks pregant women are sexy (personally I find them revolting).

We went out to eat with our (then) 3.5 yr old to a casual American restaurant/brew pub. At the end of the meal when the served brought us our bill he said "I was thinking 'Oh great! A kid at melt-down hour' when you guys sat down. But I have to say, your kid was the best behaved child I've ever had at this restaurant.…

Atheist. My response to people trying to convert me, or make me believe in a god is.... "Well, what proof would I have to provide to you to make you believe that the Flying Spaghetti Monster exists? You'd need to provide me with the same level of proof for me to believe in your god." No circular logic thinkers need apply.

Just look at a pound of butter. Go to the grocery store, stack 10 pounds of butter, and there you go!

1) You are not eating enough for your activity level, if you are only eating 1200 calories, unless you are like 4 feet tall. Aim for losing 1 pound a week instead of 2. More reasonable and easier to stick with long term. 2) Weight loss is not instantaneous, you didn't gain that weight in 4 weeks, you're not going to lose…

Liking or not liking black licorice flavor is a genetic trait, kind of like the cilantro taste issue.

Rule in my house also. Boy has to try everything on his plate. 2 things he won't eat 1) raw tomatoes, they make him gag and 2) ketchup (personally I'm glad to have a kid that won't eat ketchup with everything) Yields that my 5 year old snarfed through Lentil loaf, red pepper hummus, mashed cauliflower, and raw veggies at a…

Woman's shelters. They are always in need of woman's clothing and kids' clothing. But yes, I plan on donating my items. Don't want the temptation to allow myself to go back up in sizes.....I hate spending $ on clothing.

What sort of supplies? I was thinking of doing a supply box (along with coffee and chocolates :) Can never have too much coffee and chocolate)

BMR = what you'd 'burn' if you stayed in bed all day TDEE = what you'd burn from normal daily activities (going to bathroom, eating, walking around the house, shopping, etc), higher TDEE if you move/exercise more. BMR < TDEE Eating TDEE is what you would eat to maintain weight, over TDEE you gain weight, less than TDEE you…

I used Proactive, and stopped once it stopped working for me. Have also been on various BC pills to try to control it. Also took pills and prescription cremes back when I was in gradeschool (6th grade) my skin sloughed off like a snake shedding. What's working for me right now, other than the occassional pimple here or…

I'll admit, I'm a serial baker and cookie pusher also. I make scones for office fundraisers. I bring stuff in since if it sat at my house, I'd be the one to eat it all. My husband can have 1 cookie out of a whole batch and call it good....and since I don't want to eat all of them, I bring them in, and just leave them out…

I agree with this also. At a min. you need to call the office and and explain her behavior (as unemotionally as possible) to the Doctor....not another nurse, or to the office's HR person if they have one.

I'd say too low. But I'm 5'5, tend toward muscular, large framed.... Anything below 130 for me and too many bones are sticking out to look healthy or fit.

Just a thought, a person can weight more and have a lower body fat % than someone else, and fit into smaller clothes. A pound of muscle takes up less physical space than a pound of fat. Have you taken your measurements, or your BF%? Women, IMHO (and I am one) are too dependant on the scale # as a success metric instead of…

I'd get in.....even if they did call me a loser....I love science. Science with sexy men is even better.

THIS x 1000% best response to this thread so far.

Yep, once you have the accounts linked, what you enter for food will show up in the BodyMedia webiste, and the activity calories will sync over to MFP. I usually reset my exercise calories from BM F to 1 here on MFP after it's syncd...otherwise it shows days where I only netted like 800 calories.

Wow. I wasn't even a serious weight lifter and could leg press 375 when I was 16. No where near that now of course....I kinda let my strength go. Working on that though.

Think of me. Me whom the plainest woman would despise. Me with this nose of mine that marches on before me by a quarter of an hour. Whom should I love? Why of course it must be the woman in the world most beautiful.

I would think that that 180 for 6 tuna rolls, are the tiny tiny ones that have just the tuna in solid form in the center. But the calories in sushi were an eye opener for me. We don't eat it as often anymore.....

Poor Potential Groom to Be! Everyone heaping on him since HE won't compromise with her for the big day. Sounds like it's just as true for her. Compromise means 'you give some, I give some'. And if she can't compromise, she's just as at fault as he is.
