Hahahaha, I'm female btw. And the reason I said it the way I did, is because the irony in her saying that 'he' won't compromise with her vision.....well what about her compromising with his? So it most definitely comes across as for her it's about the spectacle and not the institution.
-
Phew. This.is.what's.wrong.with.women.and.weddings. It becomes about the spectacle and not the actual 'institution'. I'd find her finacee and tell him to run.

Yep, easily 300 calories with the rice, and the mayo in the tuna filling.

My diary is open also, although most of my single line item 'foods' are recipes I've entered., and my calorie goal is higher than 1400. (1640 range)

Okay first, I WANT THOSE SHOES!!!! Second....even though it's only been 8.2 pounds, a pair of jeans I have that I would put on and have to do two squats to loosen up a bit before they felt comfy, I didn't have to do that this morning. In fact, they were just a smidge loose on the butt and thighs and I had to wear them with…

Wow! You're almost a foot taller than me, and 40 pounds heavier.....and you're eating at a caloie level I'm eating at. (I'm also going to assume you're male vs my being female.) If you use MFP calculations, and you entered sedentary (which if you are working out that much you are not) you should be eating back exercise…
-
Most MFP 'beginners' also don't realize that with MFP calculations they are supposed to be eating exercise calories back.
-
Nope, not wrong, takes more eneregy to carry more weight.

I used to love croissants, until I made them by hand once.....the amount of butter in them was.....shocking. I haven't been able to eat them since.

These lines had me cracking up. i now have images of Chester Cheetah in a dark back alley....*Psst* Heya little lady, want some cheesy crack?
-
Ditto here. It wasn't that we weren't eating healthy....or making healthy food choices for meals....it was the portion sizes, the alchohol calories on top of food calories, and no real activity. I love cooking. We make probably 90% of what we eat at home from scratch. (My husband and I both work full time) When I bake I…

We do like some other posters have said.... We have a joint account, portions of each of our paychecks go into the household joint account to cover household bills. We have it set up to auto pay our bills. Our personal account are for us to spend as we want. We trade off if we go out to eat, or do something as a family who…

"excersizing everyday and eatting a lot less calories then I used to." 1) You may be eating too few calories, especially if working out everyday. (Lots of good posts on here about calculating your BMR and TDEE, and what those numbers mean) 2) Weight loss is not linear 3) You look like you have the 'last' bit to lose. It's…

Mmmm....hairy chests. Freaky to see a non-naturally hairless chest.

Well, looking at the ingredient list for Asset, it's pretty much a stimulant and a laxative. Woooo. Healthy. Oh, and Buckthorn can be toxic.

Fruits (mainly oranges, bananas, berries, avacado) Veggies (leaf lettuce, spinach, kale/collards, tomatoes, carrots, yams, summer squash, zucchini, bell peppers, hot peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, winter squash, onions, potatoes, green beans.....if they have something weird I haven't tried before I might buy it to give it…

Sensa is silica? So...I could go down to the local beach, pick up some sand, and sprinkle that on my food? Hmm...now where around here is there a pure quartz beach.

Nah. When I was in what I considered my fitness goddess mode, I had a diet coke and a snickers bar EVERY DAY. Edited: Every day = M to F

Okay....me and picture posting today are not getting along. just for the fun of it.

I'm in for 60 miles.

I have a bodymedia fit link armband. I use it to make sure I get to my target activity level. For me, the daily calories used turned out to be really close to what the TDEE calculators gave me. I upped from eating just under my sededentary BMR and not eating exercise calories back (and not losing weight) to ~130 calories…

I find when I bring the boy with grocery shopping, I'm out the store faster. Having him with really decreases my tolerance for being able to be in public crowds. Or I try to whine my way into having hubby do the shopping (i hate being in crowds). Plus for shopping he's better at sticking to a list than me and if he does go…
