I specifically build my house where it is so my kids can walk to school. I have fond memories of walking to school with my friends when I was a kid.

Squats have been an issue for me too.. I get really bad pain in my right hip when I do them. Ive been doing wall sits in-between sets of weights and i do some squats without weight for a minute and a half in between sets as well. not having weight on seems to be helping a lot.

There are a lot of people here who are understanding and in the same boat as you. Keep logging in and keep talking to people. Good things can happen here.

Im 43 and have had decent success on the program. I took some time off of counting during the holidays and was able to maintain. So that made me happy. Best of luck to all the new folks on here. Drop me a line if you have any questions.

Once you start seeing some results not just in weight loss but the ease of exercise obtaining numbers becomes addictive and the depression goes away. WOrk the program and in two weeks youll feel better than you have in a long time.

This is a great first choice. Ive done this before but Ive found that using my cals. for whole foods rather than anything processed kept me full and kept the weight falling off. Best of luck.

Ive been trying to get a 1000 calorie work out every time I know I have an event where Im going to be having cocktails and a large meal. I was able to maintain through Thanksgiving. I hope to lose between thanksgiving and Christmas and then maintain through the new year and then hit it hard again in Jan

That seems like a lot of running. I started to have knee and calf troubles about your age when doing similar running amounts. I alternated runs with biking or elliptical a few days a week and it seemed to help quite a bit. Best of luck. Looks like a great program otherwise.

I think bluetooth is the way to go. Obviously more pricey but much easier for almost any exercise. I got an inexpensive set ($70) Jabra. They work fine
