I find soy milk the worst personally. It messes with my hormones and makes me break out but thats not really health related lol. I think goat milk tastes the best but I occasionally drink rice milk as well. Never drink cow milk because I don't like the taste of it.

I find the treadmill way harder than outside but thats probably because I've been running outside for the majority of the program.

If you are already in a healthy range it will be harder to lose weight. Do you weigh your food? You might be underestimating the calories that you are eating.

The only way I like cottage cheese is with a ton of black pepper in it. I don't like it sweet.

I used to drink massive amounts of regular coke and quit awhile ago. No difference in weight but it totally helped my teeth and I seem to be getting less headaches now.

Good luck! You may find that you can even skip week 1 because its too easy now that you've already completed it once. I got up to week 6 in November and quit because it was too cold to run outside and started back up last week and felt week 1 & 2 we're too easy for me even after all these months.

I don't pay attention to the sugar meter in my diary. I don't think its that important especially if you are getting the sugar from fruits & veggies.

Yikes. Going over 500 calories isnt "messing up the diet". Im sure everyone already tells you this but its not healthy at all to have a goal of 500.

Im pretty sure theres an option in the food diary for breastfeeding. It gives you back negative calories. There are entries for newborns up to toddlers.

I think next time you should atleast try it. I didnt think I could do it either but I went straight from 2 min runs struggling to 4 min runs no problem. If you cant do it just revert back to week 2 the next day, no biggie :) PS: I totally applaud you for running on hills! My neighborhood is so hilly as well so I chicken…

Cream and sugar. I used to drink those horribly high calorie drinks from starbucks & slowly adjusted my coffee taste buds. Now I only use 1tbsp cream & 1tsp sugar. Sometimes I add some torani syrup for extra taste. EDIT: GOOD coffee beans make all the difference. And I find personally that I use waaay less sugar and cream…

My local running shoe store has all of its shoes listed $10 under retail sale price. I know the same shoes might be even cheaper online but I don't mind. I feel like they are genuinely trying to help me and not just trying to make quick money like places like footlocker or sportscheck.

Heart Rate monitors aren't really for wearing all day to check calories burned. It won't be accurate. If you want to wear it all day get a fitbit(?)

I just add the run/walk periods seperately like how you are doing it. The lowest setting for jogging is 5.5mph (12 min mile) and im sure I'm running slower than that though. Not a big problem for me b/c I dont eat back my exercise calories anyways. Im planning on getting a HRM soon though

I get shin splints as well, What helps me is I foam roll before & after running, and stretch for a good 10 minutes before my run. If I feel them coming on while im running i'll stop and stretch for a couple of minutes and keep going. I will also run-jump for like 2 mins while im running and I swear it helps lol!
