i think it's just an easier way to get in a good volume of fruit/veggies for some people. fresh squeezed is supposed to be better for you healthwise also, i think it just plain tastes better. orange carrot is my personal favorite, and it's not something i thought i'd like before i tried it.

i convince myself to do at least a few minutes of something active, even if it's just a few sit ups or a quick walk....helps shake off my mopey mode.

@BeSophisticat, thanks hon =) my size is pretty much the same now as then, just my attitude has changed. more loving to myself and viewing fitness as much as about feeling good as looking good. i'm so inspired by everyone sharing on this thread :flowerforyou:

agree on the frozen bananas - gives the smoothies a great texture and don't need much if any ice. quick and easy - frozen banana + chocolate soy milk a little more effort - frozen banana + unsweetened soy milk + a little honey + a little vanilla

thanks etherlain & mrnoisy =) i'm currently doing a lot of biking, looking to add more strength training and more variety. i ordered the resistance bands, looking forward to getting those bad boys!

cheering for Greece! Ellada ole!
