Yeah my cowboy boots are standard especially when riding. Riding in muck boots or tennis shoes and you're liable to get a foot stuck in the stirrup if you happen to get thrown....there is a reason they make them slick...

Definitely cowboy all the way. Not the fake ones though that just wear the hat and boots and think they are a cowboy. They have to be able to rope and ride or I won't look their way ;)

I too am the only woman in the free weights section at my gym. Great post! One a lot more women need to see!

What is your calorie intake? and are you making sure you are tracking accurately everything that you eat or drink? I had a while where I ate well during the weeks and exercised a lot but thought that I could cheat a little on the weekends and not track. I didn't lose anything for a couple months. Now that I am tracking…

I started IF this year and so far I love it! It makes it so much easier for me to hit my calorie goal and I don't have to constantly worry about eating something every couple of hours throughout the day. I think since starting IF I have been better in tune with my body signals. Now I can tell when I am actually hungry or…

I work out exactly the same during my TOM as any other time. Exercising definitely helps me with the cramps

I started running as well a couple of months ago. I used to run when I was younger but hadn't really for the last 5 years so I'm starting over. 5mph is pretty good! I can currently go for about 30 minutes at 5.5 - 5.8 on my treadmill. I would love to be able to run a 5k this summer so we will see how it goes. Stick with it…

In because since I work in a science based profession I find this amusing

For me I lift (stronglifts 5X5) 3 days a week then I do 15 minutes of cardio on lift days and 40-60 min of cardio on my non lifting days and take the weekend off :) I say for intensity push as hard as you can if you want to improve.

Thanks Twixlepennie! Is there one style that you preferred more than others since you have tried several versions or were they all fairly similar? I think I am going to give it a go for awhile and see how i do :)

Thank you guys for your replies that helps me not feel so nervous about starting it. I did do it yesterday and now again today and I think I like it a lot better than eating the multiple small meals all day long. This way even though I am a little hungry in the morning its not unbearable and I get to eat in the evenings…

The same thing happened to me so I need some support. Anyone here can feel free to add me!

I know people who use the products and love them although they are still overweight so I'm not really sure how well they are working for them. I tried the 24 day challenge with them earlier this year and all of the pills actually made me dehydrated and sick. I had to quit using it after about the 10th day because I was…

Thank you for posting this topic OP. I am definitely a bored/emotional eater and I find myself eating even though I know I am not hungry and don't need to. The suggestions given on here are great and I think can help me get out of this bad habit.

I am in the same boat. I do well for awhile then fall off the wagon and each time I have to start over at a higher weight than before. I restarted this week and I am hoping to see it through this time. Add me if you want and good luck!

To the rest of you thank you for the adds and encouragement :)

yes I realize that but having friends that help you through is nice for the hard days which we all have, even you I'm sure.
