I do try to eat well an I certainly do feel like crap when I just eat crap :-) I just try to eat loads of fruit and the usual brown rice/bread etc., and if I fancy some maltersers I will have them - my downside is that I tend to go for a bigger bag and eat the lot!!!!

I actually go to the Zumba classes three times a week and love it - I might have to invest in the game too and I will be dancing every night! ;-)

Very good question! Would love to know the answer to this one as I do have a tendancy to eat sugar things most days even though I do stick to mainly healthy food. I am also interested in the answers to this because surely if you burn say 500 calories one day and then eat those 500 calories, does that not defeat the object of trying to lose weight?

In short......... NO! Just do it and you will feel so much better. It would be good to see how doing this compares to the BMR that this website sets to see how accurate it is. have often thought of doing this for 24 hours, just not sure I could handle wearing my watch and strap overnight!

Thanks for your note. I guess I expected more than half a pound in my first week. Perhaps I am just impatient. I guess I could have put on some weight in muscle but still lost a little and its just balanced out. I will keep going and see what happens, thanks for your help

When I did WW a few years ago I was 11st 5lb BUT I felt 11st 5lb! Hi thanks for your reply. I am drinking around 5-6 tall glasses a day, I struggle to drink so much water so I hope that is enough. If I exercise I tend to drink more. I have a polar Ft4 with the strap too and its brilliant, its so much more accurate. Ran for 30 mins on the treadmill the other day, machine said 280, HRM said 354!!
