  • Happy birthday. Wozza yozza, what a transformation. Keep up the good work.
  • Wonderful. I also never wanted to take pictures at my heaviest (319 lbs.), but I held on to my old driver's licenses and am amazed at the difference they show (now 213 lbs.) Can't wait to lose my additional 60 lbs. and get into Onederland. You look amazing, keep up the good work!
  • I'm 68 years old, but I have learned to love myself finally. When I reach my goal, and am not satisfied with the finished product; I will see about getting a tummy tuck and a breast reduction. I deserve anything I think I deserve. You do too!!!!! I had a C-section 45 years ago, and my stomach was sewed by crooked.
  • You inspire me to do more for myself. Thank you so much. You look great! :p
  • Congratulations and keep up the good work. You have come a long way and under circumstances that not everyone has to deal with. You are to be commended.
  • Looking back a year ago, I too was suffering from debilitating arthritis in my knees. I couldn't walk without my cane and was slowly progressing towards a walker/wheel chair. My Orthopedic surgeon would not do any knee replacements unless I lost 100 lbs. On my next appointment 4/16/21, I had reached that goal. Did it…
  • Had dinner over at some friend's house to celebrate Father's Day. I called ahead and asked what was for dinner, and fitted it into MFP food diary. When I asked what was being served for dessert I was told strawberries. I asked "are they fresh", and was told yes. When dessert was brought out, it had all the fixings for…
  • You are absolutely right. "Regular" dinner plates get bigger and bigger. I have some in my house that I actually use as serving platters. Pretty, but no functional in our weight loss battle. Thank you for posting this.
  • I have noticed that I am constantly pushing my eye glasses up on my face more. I guess with the loss of 110 lbs. my face has gotten smaller. Need to take them back to optometrist office to see if they can tighten them to stay up on my face.
  • OMG!!!!! Your transformation is fantastic. Congratulations and keep up the good work. Amazing. You are beautiful.
  • Just let it be known that you are not by yourself on this journey. Keep in touch with the MFP community. The support has helped me a lot.
  • You are so right. I actually had someone (who I thought was a supportive friend) tell me that I would never reach my goal I had set for myself. The little voice in my head said 'WATCH ME". I plan on showing her and all of the other haters/doubters that I will persevere. I'm down 110 lbs. with 61 more lbs. to go. You look…
  • This has been on my bucket list to do for a very long time. I once saw a person, when I was on vacationing near the Gulf of Mexico, who was too large for the kayak and sat overflowing on the top of the hole. I think this turned me against ever trying this. I didn't want anyone laughing at me. I have learned to love myself,…
  • Your doggy looks very fit and trim!
  • What the.......Are you sure this is the same person? Phenomenal results. Congratulations. Took my breath away for a moment. Keep up the good work!
  • You made my day, and thank you for your dedication to your occupation and the inspiration you have given to all of us here reading your post. May you continue your lifestyle journey for a happy healthy long time. Thanks for the online company name.
  • This side view is worth a million bucks! Awesome transformation. Looks like two different bodies. I'm proud of you and your efforts.

  • It is so good to see the men of MFP working toward their goal of a healthier lifestyle. I have several men in my family that I desperately hope and pray will start to take better care of their health before it is too late for them. I know you can't drag anyone to start living a healthier lifestyle (It took me 68 years…
  • It's been almost a year since I've had any "fast food". When the girls in the office go and get lunch I try not to be in the lunch room, because I get nauseous from the greasy smell of their food. Glad I'm over that. I literally went through the drive through almost every day since I lived alone, and did not want to cook…
  • I brought a beautiful ice blue swim suit about 6 years ago. I have never been able to wear it until now. I still love it as much as the day I saw it.
  • Congratulations, keep up the good hard work. Before you know it your belly will be flat and September will be here and gone. It takes time and dedication, but you are worth it. I am a firm believer in self-care. I really give more credence to the NSV (non-scale victories) over our friend the SCALE. WTG for the 2" waist…
  • What a wonderful NSV. Congratulations!
  • Welcome aboard! You are in good company.

  • Wishing you the best on your weight loss new lifestyle journey. I have all the faith in you. I have lost 107 lbs. myself since July 2020. If this 68-year-old body can do it, anyone can. I think you will make your goal date, if not very close to it.
  • It does feel wonderful to get into clothes that have been hanging in your closet for a while. I swear I had from size 12 to 28. Slowly getting rid of the large hanging clothes. Never looking back. Love your white blouses, so pretty!
  • donfief, first of all my prayers for your upcoming surgery. I too was given an ultimatum from my orthopedic surgeon to lose 100 lbs. before he would do a double knee replacement on me. That was 7/16/20. I lost the 100 lbs. as of 4/24/21. It was decided that I would no longer need to rush into surgery (I will always have…
  • I think everyone of us on this site has at one time or another asked the same question of "How did we get to this point in gaining weight". The answer is in the realization that you now want to do something about it. I am 68-years-old and weighed 319 lbs. back in July 2020. I now weigh 215 lbs. as of today. I know you can…
  • bgorman65: So glad to feel the excitement you are exuding in your post. No matter how small the effort, at least you are putting effort forward. Every little bit helps. Baby steps make big steps. I wish you well on your new healthy lifestyle journey. Keep up the good work!
  • Thank you, thank you, thank you. This list is so on point. I have copied and placed it on my desk top to view whether I start listening to that mean little voice that keeps trying to tell me I will not make it to goal. The liar! You look simply marvelous. Keep up the good work.
  • You are to be commended. Keep up the good work. It all boils down to "consistency". Before you know it, you will be at goal.
