  • Hang in there. I see you are having a bit of a plateau. I just got off one. Frustrating, but when those numbers start going down again it's wonderful. Keep up the good hard work. Wishing you success on your lifestyle journey.
  • Intermittent fasting 16:8 and daily tracking with MFP and keeping up with motivational articles and forums like this. Have met many friends through MFP. We uplift each other when we are down and celebrate when we are up. I too had a Dr. who would not do double knee surgery until I lost 100 lbs. That was back in July 2020…
  • Fabulous, keep up the good work. As for the boobs, I started out wearing a 50DDD and now wear 48DD. I wish mine would go down faster since losing 107 lbs. I'm thankful for small blessings. What did you do with your oversized clothes? I through away the worn ones and gave the others to Goodwill donations. I had so many…
  • Your transformation is amazing for just 5 weeks. I am also 5' 2", but at 68-years-old it definitely is coming off slower. Have had a wonderful journey so far with 107 lbs. gone in 10 months. A friend of mine just took a picture of me last week, and had an older picture that she made a before and after shot of. I still…
  • Vunderbah!!!! I celebrate for you and with you. How amazing! I am 16 lbs. from onederland myself. Can't wait. The last time I was in onderland was before I had my daughter, and she is 45-year-old now. It will be a joyous day. Keep up the excellent lifestyle changes. You deserve all kudos for time and effort. <3
  • This morning while getting rid of old clothes (moving and downsizing), I tried on a pair of pants that I could barely fit into before. I put them on, and they fell instantly to the ground. It made my day. (lost 107 lbs. since July 2020). They were size 28/30. I am now wearing a size 18/20.
  • Wonderful transformation. Keep up the good work.
  • I beg to differ about feeling feeling old. Since losing 100+ lbs. I feel better than I did in my 50s. I'm 68 now. Just got a b/w polka dot pedicure to match my black/white outfit. I would of never done that before. I love my new outlook on life on my healthy lifestyle journey. Wish I had done it sooner.
  • You certainly don't look 52-years-old, especially in your after picture. Congratulations on your journey. I know you will make it to goal.
  • I applaud your tenacity. You look wonderful. Stay the course!
  • I'm rooting for you. You can do whatever you put your mind to do.
  • Higgkatt, never say never. We are never too old to take care of ourselves. I wish you the best in your health journey. I was also one who at first doubted myself that I could lose weight. Take one day at a time.
  • You are to be congratulated. I had a friend who had to have her wedding ring cut off her finger, because it was turning black with no blood flow. Can you imagine? Keep up the good work.
  • Wow, that's the most I have ever heard anyone logging in. Congratulations! I can't wait to hit my one-year anniversary on October 1, 2021. Again congratulations, what a milestone for you.
  • I can bend forward and touch my toes. Have not been able to do that in quite a while.
  • Your cardiologist should have his licence suspended until you reach your goal. I am 68 and have lost 105 lbs. since 7/16/20. Keep up the good work.
  • Good grief, it happened today for me at the gym. How embarassing :#
  • Sounds like you are doing fine. You can still have your pizza, just in moderation and fitting it into your MFP daily goals for eating. Continued best wishes on your weight loss journey.
  • Reached my 100 lbs. loss last week. I have 60 more to get rid of. My next mini goal is to reach ONE-derland!!!! :p
  • You are to be commended. Keep up the good work. Before you know it December will be here, and you'll look back at the beginning of 2021 and wonder how far you have come. It will be here before you know it. <3
  • I try to keep in mind that the scale is only a "tool" in my weight loss journey. You have other parameters that show you NSVs. I am 68-years old and my skin is not bouncing back as it did in my younger years, but I am extremely happy with my loss (104 lbs.) since July 2020. I feel much better, and I'm sure as you progress…
  • Well toned abs. Congratulations. It is all a struggle whether we have a lot or little to lose/tone up.
  • You look like a different person, healthier, CONGRATULATIONS!
  • You look absolutely fantastic. You look like a teen-ager. I also have been doing IF for the past 8 months. Down 100 lbs. Keep up the good work. You should be proud of yourself.
  • kevinokorn: Thank you for sharing your journey. You have truly motivated me to continue on my own journey (lost 102 lbs. since July 2020). I wish you all the best in your weight loss journey. Happy trails, you look so much healthier and happy (behind your mask). My own next mini goal is to start a run/walk routine. Wish me…
  • I don't know the equivalent of lbs. to stones, but I understand what you're going through. I have lost 102 lbs. since July 2020, and I really can't see that I've changed much. I guess because I never actually looked at myself in the mirror too often. I do get lots of exuberant comments from people who have not seen me that…
  • Welcome aboard. I will be reaching out to "friend" you. Everyone can use the motivation that this site offers. I am 68-years-old and have lost 100 lbs. since July 2020 with intermittent fasting and logging in my daily food/meals on MFP. It can be done! Wishing you all the best on your new lifestyle journey. <3
  • If you break it down your "just 3 lbs." equals 12 sticks of butter that you melted off your body. Remember the scale is only a TOOL to use not to give power to. Keep up the good work! Be proud of your efforts no matter how small you think they are. Love the non-scale victories also, don't you.
  • WOW, Congratulations! How long did it take to accomplish that wonderful feat?
