I keep a 24 oz bottle infornt of me. Then I end up grabing it with out thinking about it! I also have a bottle with a straw, which I find helps me sip away at it quicker with out noticing. And never let it be empty.

I have to agree that the wrist size will not work on everyone, especially if you store fat around there, or you have very long fingers! From my experience, the information in the data base is very accurate! Also, I log as I eat, or in advance, leaving it to the end of the day just makes it easier for me to go over my alotment!

Is he able to bike to/from work? Might be an idea to slowly get him moving again...
