  • Ok. "Diet supplements" are just what they are called. These pills are used to supplement a good proper balanced diet. They will do little or nothing without a proper diet. Just taking them will not help you lose weight. You will never change your body composition unless you put in the work. There are no quick fixes.......
  • Don't mean to slam your post but that advice is horrible. Please post where you read that it doesn't matter the frequency or size of meals. The frequency of meals and timing of your food is very important when It comes to weigt loss. For weight loss the only real time that carbs are needed is first thing in the morning,…
  • In order to properly determine what your calorie goals and nutrition choicecs should be in terms of marco and micro nutrients we should know what your current stats are...age, height, weight, physical activity level and what your goals are. Post it on here or send them to me personally and I can help.

  • Postworkout meal should be eaten within 20 minutes of finishing your workout. It should consist of protein (typically a shake) and a simple carb such as a banana or dextrose added to your protein shake. The simple carbs are vital after a workout. More important immediately post workout then protein. Fats should be…
  • They are not the answer you are looking for. The diet for HCG is about 500 calories per day....its crazy. Also the most popular HCG treatment is injections. Most people dont want to go there either. Diet and exercise is the answer

  • It really depends on a few things like what are your current stats...age, weight, height. What your goals are in terms of weight loss and more importantly the type of carbs that you are eating and most importantly the time at which you eat those carbs. Timing of your carbs are very important and sometimes mis-understood.…
  • Protein is protein for the most part. One brand is not really any better then the other, useless you start getting into casein protein which is a slower releasing protein that is usually taken later at night to help you while you sleep. Since your not worried about that it just comes down to flavor and taste....which is a…
  • Hey, The whole point of HIIT is to keep changing up your heart rate so that your body doesn't get use to any particular pace for any time. I don't know that there is a right or wrong way of doing cardio. If your looking at it for fat loss I would do it after your weight training. When I do HIIT I use whats called a 20-10…
  • You need to really look at what you are doing. The scales by themselves can be very discouraging. To many people judge their progress by the numbers on the scales. If you are exercising and counting your calories you have to take into account that you may also have gained some muscle while losing fat. Muscle weights more…
  • Hey all, It all really depends on what goals you are trying to reach. If you are trying to lose weight then I would have to say that 6 slices of bread in one day is to many....but it may not be depending on how much you weight, your age ( metabolism) and how much you exercise. Like someone else said its all a function of…
  • Hey, Your right you shouldn't eat to much at once. The best situation is when all your calories are split evenly or as best as possible over 5-6 smaller meals a day. If you are trying to lose weight I would recommend having the majority of your carbs earlier in the day and taper them towards the evening. For example I…
  • Its definitely not cheating. But the whole concept of supplements has gone crazy. People think that if I take a certain type of supplement....lets say Lipo 6 or hydroxicut which are some of the more popular fat burners out there that they will just take this magic pill and start losing weight by not changing anything…
  • Exactly what kind of supplements are you talking about???? Protein is a must...that is a given. Other then that it depends on the supplement and what you are tyring to accomplish...... I also highly recommend a quality multi-vitamin and fish oil everyday. Are you wondering about any supplement in particular???
  • Hey, The point is to hit your daily goal. If you want to eat 2000 calories a day then make that your goal and try to arrange your meals so that at the end of the day you are as close to 2000 calories as possible. Depending on what your goals are will influence what your daily calorie intake should be.....exactly what are…
  • Hey, I order to help you out (and your husband) it would be good to know some stats about you, such as your height, weight, how much you exercise, typical calories for a day and or break-down of meals. Also exactly what you are looking to accomplish. That would be the most important of all. All of this would help me and…
